The International Cricket Council's (ICC) six-match ban on Indian captain Sourav Ganguly will be among the issues that will be discussed in the ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC) meeting at Lord's Friday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said that it would appeal against the ban imposed by match referee Chris Broad in the recently concluded India-Pakistan series for the team's slow over rate.
Decisions on a range of matters from the playing of cricket to making recommendations on the business of cricket for consideration by the ICC Board will be made at the two-day meet.
The main issues on CEC's agenda include consideration of proposals from ICC Cricket Committee concerning the Johnnie Walker Super Series technology trials, changes to one day internationals playing conditions, cricket bat specifications, consideration of proposed amendments to ICC Code of Conduct including issues relating to right of appeal and the formulation of recommendation to the body's commercial arm - the ICC Development International Board - regarding format of the ICC Champions Trophy 2006 to be held in India.
The CEC comprises the chief executives of the 10 Test-playing nations and three representatives from ICC Associate Member countries including Hong Kong, Argentina and Namibia.
BCCI secretary S.K. Nair will represent the Indian board at the meeting.
