Journalists Sunday boycotted Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's news conference here after a Governor House protocol officer misbehaved with them, reports Online news agency.

Senior Sindhi journalists and editors had just taken the front row in the news conference hall, when the Governor House protocol officer asked them to go to the back rows, saying the front row was reserved for top government officials.

The journalists protested against the 'directive'. However, the officer refused to budge from his stance, leaving the journalists with no choice but to boycott the conference.

Soon after getting wind of the incident, Sindh government's advisor Salahuddin Haider reached the hall but most of the journalists had left the venue by then.
