    Default DISH TV Services

    I am subscriber of Dish TV from 2008. Last subscribtion was renewed on 31-07-2009 for Rs. 2500/- a yearly subscription, and there is a scheme of DISH TV "Recharge Free", in this scheme they gave the amount of Whatever value is recharged for, get the same value worth free, thus recharge becomes absolutely free.

    For example - Recharge for Rs.200/- you get Rs.200/- worth of value free.
    The free value on recharge is in the form of free a-la-Carte & Movie on Demand (MOD) distributed as follows: 20% A-la-Carte & 80% Movie-on-Demand.

    I demanded Colours & UTV Movies as my recharge free channels. And also demanded 2 -3 movies on demand. As I know that these are free for me in the said scheme.

    Now I came to know that these channels are paid channels and not free and the movies also paid movies and not free, so my subscription is prepond from July 2010 to May 2010.

    On the contrary they not disclosed this fact to me till May 2010, however my mobile no as well as my e-mail id is registered with Dish Tv already.

    On My Dish TV A/c Space also, it shows 12-07-2010 as my renewal date. Now my connection is discontinued without any clarification regarding, which are free movies ? and free channels ? And whether you disclose this fact to me prior to discontinuation.

    This is a deficiency in the service of Dish TV, And giving strace and agony to the common man.

    DISH TV the worst nightmare as on 2nd July, 2011 and its not over yet.



    Dish TV won't listen to your complaints, They Have No solutions to your problems and are so arrogant that they dare not return your money.


    I am sure somebody is listening and understanding and willing to help out there ...................
    I have a dish TV connection with me since last couple of years. There was no complaint in services since then. But this year is full of complaints. We have called their engineer for aligning the disk in the month of February 2011. To our shock the engineer first told us the problem is not from dish but of the set top box, then of the wire , then of the LNB then of the dish. We requested him to leave, and again requested DISH TV to send in some qualified engineer. Again the person came, fiddled around with DISH and no help. Finally a gentleman came from dish TV who aligned the dish in 5 minutes. All was working fine till about a month when we had to call the engineer again.

    Last 4 months we have called the engineers every month, and every month it gets out of alignment.

    I again recharged the last Saturday 02/07/200 with RS.700/- and discovered the dish is not working. I have been calling them again and again, speaking with different person at all times
    -> Every time i meet a new person and have to narrate the story all over again
    -> They put me on hold with nothing happening
    -> They offer to call back, bu i never got any call back
    -> When i do get lucky to reach so called senior - he request for 24 hours for my resolution (Nothing happening - their 24 hours has expanded to 8 days so far and i dont know how long it would go)
    -> They wont return my money (Have said it clearly)
    -> They are incapable to offer service
    -> You waste minimum 1 hour daily calling them up and waiting anxiously for the reply.
    -> Their so called engineers are not qualified and would exploit you of your ignorance/ lack of knowledge, by offering you to replace dish, or wire, or connectors or LNB or whatever.
    -> They have no identification with them and can pose a serious threat to your family/ house, because the enter your premises.
    -> They have no proper equipment to align the dish - maybe a set top box from Door Darshan (DD) to align your disk.
    -> The way the handle your delicate equipment like LCD, cables, other attached equipments etc. would surely make other equipment losses including scratches, malfunctioning etc.
    -> They wont explain the problem or what they did with your complaint - they wont explain the resolution. At the best they can offer you AMC of the dish.




    TO CONCLUDE
    DISHTV is pure waste of money with no services.
    A kiryana store in the neighborhood can give you better services.


    I can only say that that i want my money returned for no services offered.

    I have been writing them emails, all they do is give me a reference ID and an assurance to get back to me soon. I am waiting and waitimg.So her I am reaing my voice and telling the world about the exploitation of the of the customers by DISH TV. I am using this forum to see in such hard words that i am totally fedup with the company (Pure Pain In The Neck).

    This way all their customers would run and what they would say is Wished We had Better Services And then we had more customers.
