I made a booking for hotel Riga Residency at Coonoor, through Travelguru.com on 21.01.10 for a holiday at coonoor on 28.02.10. Hotel booking reference is TGU0000257944 The online transaction was completed and a hotel voucher confirmed for accommodation has been issued. Casually I checked with hotel and to my shock i am informed that there is no booking made and the voucher issued is not valid. Further the said hotel has no accommodation for next 3 months. I took up the matter with Travelguru through Email and several Phone calls. I get prompt reply everytime that the matter is investigated and i will hear from them in the next 24 Hrs/3 working days. But nobody has called me so far and thus my holiday at the said hotel is at stake. It appears that this travel agent fraudlently issues voucher after collection of money, which will never be returened since the customer care response is only an automatic message that the matter will be responded within 24 Hrs. After that nothing happens.
