Philips grooming stick (model-qg3190) not working I purchased a philips grooming stick of model number qg3190 on 09/05/2010. Initially the product worked fine but as the months passed this product started making lots of sound after its 10 to 15 minutes of usage and also the accessories given were made up of low quality fiber as they broken down while shaving or grooming.
Later I reported this incident with the philips india customer care, then they insisted me to visit the nearest philips service center accordingly I visited "M r t electronics domlur layout bangalore" and submitted philips grooming stick for the repair, and the work item was created stating by the customer executive that the "motor is not working properly and need to replaced", resolution date was 1 week from the date of submission of the product.
When I visited to the "M r t electronics domlur layout bangalore" to collect my philips grooming stick they said that the it is not yet repaired due to the unavailability of the motor and we have ordered the motor to pune service center and which needs one more week, then I agreed for it and waited for one more week. After the waiting for two weeks I again visited to the service center to collect my philips grooming stick but this time the answer from the service center executive was different that "we dint find any motor and the problem was with the attachment so we have replaced the attachment". I was totally confused with this statement and I thought there is no meaning for arguing with the service center executive and left the service center by collecting my philips grooming stick.
But the unfortunate thing is that my problem was not resolved and in the mean time I traveled to germany for some official work and returned back last month and called the philips india customer care to report the incident they again insisted me to visit "M r t electronics domlur layout bangalore" and I visited this great service center. I met the manager s.M.Kamaraj and reported him about the incident about misleading the customer without replacing the motor by service center executive instead of apologizing he started talking to me in harsh manner saying that "product is mishandled by you, and you are complaining on us. See there is a scratch on the grooming stick how you have used it. This the hot selling cake and you are complaining about this product, no its fine take and go its your fault, I will make sure that philips india will not give any refund or replacement for this."
I was like what is this?, is this the way one should behave with their customers and the commitment shown during the sale of the product is not maintained after the sale.
I have registered a complaint about this to philips india customer care and I have left my grooming stick at "M r t electronics domlur layout bangalore".
Initial work item number is 1101119002.
And the latest work item number is 1000010479.
Also the product is still within the guarantee period and I am really frustrated with the philips india. Still awaiting for the positive response from the philips india.
