I purchased a home theater system in Dec 2008. Post warranty got expired, I purchased EMC from Philips.
From the past few months, I have been facing issues with my Home theater system and have logged several requests.
Everytime their service engineer used to visit however the problem was never resolved. Post escalating, my player was taken to the service center for repair on 20th Dec. The player was returned back on 1st Feb in the same condition post many follow ups from my side.
To make the situation worse now the player is more damaged. Now it makes sounds while playing DVD, the power gets automatically switched on and the DVD stops running post 30 - 40min.
I logged the complaint again within 1 hour 15min of receiving the player back however no one visited my place yet and above all I received a complaint closure mail from Philips.
My question is what was done to my player in the 40 days, it was kept at the center? Why wasn't it checked propoerly and I need my player to repaired at the earliest.
