Coming from the US, I thought whirlpool would be the best for my house. Boy, I was so badly wrong! I got myself a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine and I thought I am set. Folks, all three quit working on me in 5 years. My T-20 Magic washing machine (I wonder what magic it did at the first place) corroded and they said they don't have supplies due to phasing out of the model. However, a local washing machine guy was able to do it. A technician from whirlpool charged me 450 INR for inspecting the microwave but didn't follow up with the repair. I relied again on a local guy to fix it. Now, I am fighting a fierce battle over my refrigerator.

In the last 6 weeks, my refrigerator was inspected and "repaired" by the whirlpool service guys, but still the machine isn't cooling. Getting these guys to come over was a gargantuan task in the first place. Payments have been made for these repairs. I might have made a hundred calls to get these guys to come back and resolve the case of a stuttering refrigerator with bad cooling. Astonishingly, promises are made but not honored. Sairam Refrigeration of Chennai have been playing "games", sending inefficient technicians at times, giving lame excuses and not taking care of the real issue of making my refrigerator work. I do not know what ails whirlpool. But, I can say this: I wouldn't touch whirlpool appliances with a ten foot pole again. No wonder Japanese products are kicking their butt. Is anyone listening to me?

we had complained about a problem related to the compressor and the technician arrived and replied tat it will be replaced in a couple of days..
it has been 5 days and when we call up the customer care service they give a repl"i dont know"..
what kind of reply is tat??
even they dont give the no. of the person whom we should talk to...
now all the vegetables and fruits are rotting in our fridge!!!!!
hope they improve their service
