I wish to bring to notice the poor quality of product and service of Philips. I purchased philips FWD 18 a mini home theatre in october 2008. recently the system developed problems. earlier the cassette system did not function and now the system does not reproduce sound. Over last one week I have been intimating the call centre to attend to the problem and resolve. for a change the call centres respond. however, most of the time the call centre would complaint of their system under service and not generate a complaint no. they would very sweetly say that the service engineer would respond within 48 hours, which i have extended by three times and do not know how manymore. further the buck is passed to the local service provider who is supposedly have attended to the call. I am at the end of my wits. I am posting this note to bring to notice the poor service even during the warranty period of such a large and renowned company.
