    One home theatre given on dt 28/09/2011 not repaired yet.Purchased from electronic shoppe near hotel venece,pathankot-145001 on dt 14/02/2011 vide inv no 3964 of Rs.16000/- under warranty for one year.Kindly resolve the case.Complaint logged to sony customer care complaint no 8659076.Without doing any action they are giving harassment .

    Default Pathetic response from customer support

    I was under the impression that Sony products are of superior quality and had purchased a 40" LCD TV. Its not working since last 2 days. I had registered a call at 2am on 10th Nov. I didnt get any response till 11th Morning and hence had to call support. They directed me to the service centre. At 6PM, an engineer called and asked if it is fine for him to visit us on 12th!!!. the response itself is taking time. I have other products from different vendors and am very satisfied with thier support. Sony India should improve their support. A TV purchased in 2008 going off completely is not a sign of quality. Make.Believe is a nice caption. They are living up to it - "Make.Believe". My cust ref no: 8724118

    I bought a ps2 slimline and never recieved any network startup disc with it to play online. I also registers to ps2 site ,still no answer. LSO CALLED UP sONY

    Dear Madam i have requested sony about warranty extend.SONY Told me it will happen and sony will extend my warranty. i live in kashmir thats why i cant extend my warranty on time.SO, i request sony 2 extend my warranty.SONY Told me it will happen and sony will extend my warranty.I paid money and they asked me sony will give you unique number.But you dont provide me any kind of number and status is still open according to sony.
    So Plz provide me unique code and extend my warranty
    please reply and help me

    Post Non supply of Airtel HD Digital TV

    I had purchased SONY LCD LED MODEL NO 32 EX520 bearing Serial No 2446087 on 23.10.2011. Under the scheme one Airtel HD Digital was free with this model which is not given by the Airtel till date. I purchased this LCD from M/S ALIGARH SALES ALIGARH Ph No-0571-2525174 Mob No-9837162497. Kindly arrange to make available my Airtel Digital HD TV.

    Today i felt cheated at Sony Centre in Pune(Near Hotel Pearl, Bal Gandharva Rang mandir). I purchased one 32 GB memory card for my camera @Rs6700.00. One sales man has handed over me the sony carry beg with Card(as per sales man). I took the beg and enquired for couple of items and returned back home by scooter. Once i reached home i found there is no card inside. It was having only packing which was removed during testing of card.
    I called them but no one in showroam agreed that they have card. I also donot have any proof that who has taken. But I am more than 100% sure because after purchasing the card i put beg directly in scooter deckky and opened it after reaching home.
    Since last 10 years i am purchasing most of the products of Sony but after today incident my faith is shaken really feeling cheated. Is there any way these type of cases handled.

    Default sony service complaint

    i have a sony handy cam which is in warrenty.before a month i got a problem in it and i gave it for service in sony service center valasaravakkam.they changed the main board.then i was using it and i found that there was a line on the display again i gave him for service but he took time for past week but he could not retrive it.i faught with him and and i took from him.again after 2 weeks i was not able to retrive are store data in my cam.again i went to him he changed the hard disk.now i gave the came for service as the clarity is not good but he is not keeping time to return.he asked me to come 2 days after and i went but he said that no sir it will take other 2 days.i am feedup to go.this is my problem and i want to new cam insted of that because it is in warrenty.i could not service it other time.

    Angry Sony laptop complaint registered left unattended

    Appreciate the efforts and the kind of magic performed by SONY India to resolve and close the complaints I have registered even without attending it (Complaint register No. 9225652, registered on 17th of Jan 2012).
    I bought one Sony Vaio VPCSB17GG model laptop on 4th Nov 2011. It was showing some problems (hanging in between) while working from the day one. Though it was not happening quite often, whenever it happens laptop needs to be restarted and it starts with a heavy noise (voice not from the speakers). I registered a complaint on 8th Dec, 2011 (Case ID 8935111) and Sony’s engineer visited on the same day. The same problem occurred in front of him when he switched on the laptop and there wasn’t any need of an explanation of the issue. He took my laptop telling it’s a hard-disk complaint and promised me that he will return it within two days. He returned the laptop only after one week, claiming delay in receiving parts, creating enough discomfort to me. (I could not use the laptop for one week, all my works got pending and had to make so many phone calls to return my laptop. I called the Sony customer care also to complaint about the delay in service and thanks to Sony’s brilliant customer support no actions were taken by Sony India regarding this). The engineer returned the laptop claiming all the issues were resolved and replaced my LCD display also. (I did not make any complaint regarding LCD screen).
    Two days after receiving my laptop back it started showing the same complaint again and I waited for some time before complaining it again. The frequency of the issue increased day by day and I finally registered a complaint on 17th Jan 2012 (Case ID 9225652). Since I lost belief in the engineer visited me in the first time I asked for a different engineer with more experience. Sony’s customer care executive promised me that Sony will be sending a different engineer, a senior person to resolve the issue. I got a response only on 20th of Jan and that too from the same engineer who visited me in the first time. He informed me he did not replaced any parts in the first time other than the LCD and when he checked there was no issue with laptop. (Remember the issue occurred in front of him when he visited me and claiming there was no issues. Then what he was doing with my laptop for one week?). They were asking my laptop for checking and fixing the problem. Remembering the experience in the first time I asked them to come and check my system at my place and find the problem. Once they find the problem they could go back and order the required parts and collect my laptop only after receiving the parts. They were reluctant to accept this in the first place and eventually agreed to this. The engineer promised me that he will come and check the complaint on the same day (ie 20th of Jan) and will order and replace the parts asap. Till now (24th Jan) no engineer visited me to check my system and my system totally stopped working. In between I made calls to both the engineer and the customer care to know the progress but the response was negative. Finally when called the customer care today (24th Jan) I got to know that the complaint registered with case id 9225652 is closed and all my issues were resolved. The fact is no engineers visited me till now and my system is not working. Thanks for the magic done by Sony.

    i have visited sony L C D DEALER SANKET ANAND,&amp; after demo of sony leD 40 inch 3D.i had given purchase oder on 27/3/12.<br>
    for that i had paid advace rupees 30,000.they have promise me to give delivery at my home after two days.they have given<br>
    delivery timely.at the time of delivery i show that lED packing was torn &amp; was restrap with other stiking tape.when technician<br>
    came after two days for instalation he opened the pack &amp; removed lED therewere multiple finger prints at wall mounting<br>
    site suggest piece was used before i.e for display.i had contected maneger of snket sales &amp; explained all details.but they<br>
    reffused to replace (to fresh piece).giving reason that they dont have in stock.&amp; they told me to pay 10,000/-.more if<br>
    want new piece.so my request sony ltd .kindly look in to matter &amp; arrange to give fresh LED 40 3D piece.from dealer .do<br>
