Sir / Madam,

Whirlpool 1Ton Window A/C bearing Serial no. 1439770001926
service complaint no.18942 made on 8/1/10
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have made the complaint on the 8th of last month for the problem of ‘no cooling’ .Please note that this same problem has been recurring from 7th May 2009.and your service partner ‘Sri Maruthi Engineering’ have not set this problem alright from then excepting refilling the gas and made it look like working though the cooling effect felt only for about 4 days to about a week.
For your information I furnish hereunder the Charges made by your service provider/ partner M/S. Sri Maruti Engineering.

Cash Bill.No.45001 DT 7/5/09 for Rs. 450/- towards inspection charges
. 45024 DT 25/5/09 for Rs.1880/- towards transportation charges of Rs.280/
And Rs. 1600/ towards gas charges
45871 DT 18/09/09 for Rs. 450/- towards Inspection charges
The problem was only that of ‘no cooling’ on all the occasions.

There were complaints made in between also. Complaint made on 27/7/09 under complaint no.42122 and another made on 26/8/09 under complaint no.41504...Thereafter, complaint made on 29/10/09 under no.59829. Eventually, we had entered in toAMC on 4/11/09 under bill no. 48385 for Rs.3199/= {towards inspection charges of Rs.450/- and
PMP amount for 2 years of Rs.2749/-} and plan starting from 4/11/09 to 3/11/11..This will give you the idea that even after collecting from us a sum of Rs 5979/= for the same problem of 'no cooling ' which was solved till today.

When we had called the service partner twice on 4/11/09 and during December 09, they brought the gas cylinder to home and did only refilling gas which was only giving temporary solution lasting for only 4 days to a week. The fact that before refilling gas on our complaint a service engineer representing your new service partner who attended, indicated that compressor has to be replaced and that is covered under AMC but we don’t understand why the other service engineer did not do anything on that part but indicated that the cooling coil has to be replaced but till today the problem has not been sorted out as the complaint made on 8/1/10 under no.18942 is attended only to the extent of visiting and indicating that a part has to be changed and there is no stock of such part.

Since, there is no response for the complaint made on 8th Jan 10 till 27th Jan 10 and on our call today to your call centre we understood from Mr.Roshan, the customer service executive advised the complaint is open and he would remind the service engineer to attend on priority basis and also indicated that gas coiling to be replaced as per the computer system.

This lengthy mail is to make you understand the deficiency in your service system and it is rediculas that a company of your stature could not sort out the 'no cooling problem' for such a long time.
We trust the management will take the right course of action in directing people to sort out the problem at the earliest in view of the long duration we have been made to wait for the normal usage of the A/C system and after.paying so much of charges .

Looking forward to your intervention and action.

Yours truly

Deepak Devarajan.
