    Default Deficiency of Service by Lorman Solutions

    Hi,

    I had purchased a Magic "Induction Stove" from Lorman Solutions last year.
    This product had a warranty period of one year. The stove worked well.
    Just 15days after the one year warranty period expired, the stove stopped working completely.

    I first called the salesman who had sold this to us. He mentioned that he had quit, but that he would help us to fix the issue. When he did not callback even after 2 days, I called up Lorman Solutions asking for their help.
    This was on 11/09/2008.
    The technician initially asked for Rs 1500/- to replace all the defective parts with new parts (these parts were to have warranty for 1 year).
    I later found that they were charging much more and when I spoke to them, they reduced it to Rs 1000/-.

    When they brought the "fixed" stove (my wife received the stove as I was not at home), it did not work for even 10 minutes.
    They took it back again the next day to repair. They came back again & when I did a test in front of the technician, some circuit burst and they had to take it back again. I noticed that they had given me a repaired motherboard, instead of a new one - which would have worked and not given this issue.

    Anyway, since then they have not come back at all (more than 2 months now). I keep phoning them almost every day or 2, but they just keep repeating that they will come today or tomorrow with the stove...Today, I went to the address mentioned in their receipt, the place was closed. As I tried to reach them by phone, a technician called up saying that he was on the way to my place and had one other call to finish before coming. This was at 1pm today morning. Till now, he has not come - he has switched his mobile off and all of the are now not reachable.

    This has really started to cause depression and blood pressure to me.
    I need your advice on how to take these people to task.

    (Update just before posting this message) The lady in charge called me up and asked me whether the technician had come!! Then as normal she has promised to send someone tomorrow if they are not in a position to come today - This is now turning to a big joke!! I'll update if the stove comes tomorrow...

    Default Deficiency of the induction stove

    I have bought the high end induction stove from Lorman solution in Jan 2008. Within 15 days it went faulty. They have taken the stove back but no response till now. Every time we call the lady in charge promises to call back sicne th unit is in godown, but still I have not received.

    Don't know how to complain and sue them in the court.
