I have purchased a Voltas AC on 30-Apr-2012 from Big Bazar and unpacked it on 9-May-2012 for installation, but after 4-5 days we came to know that the AC is not cooling properly. we made a complaint in customer care with complain no. 12my1901260,technician visited after that and said gas has leaked, he visited again and refilled the gas. in new piece in just in 1 week how gas can leak i do not understand that. after another 10 days again we started facing the same problem, ac was not cooling and there was ice formation on the coils of ac. when got connected and complained in customer care, assured by call center rep that senior technician will visit and get this rectified. you spend so much money for your comfort and peace and in return you get sleepless nights and tension of taking off from office and getting the problem rectified. this time when technician visited he himself could not identify the problem and said we have to take the AC to service station for repair, and took it for repairing after two days when we got our Ac back it was working fine and cooling properly. now its not even 1 month of repairing again it started giving the same problem, ice formation on coil , less cooling and this time one new problem arised, there is no water discharge from back of the AC. Have complained again in customer care on 7th July with complain no. 12JL0704819 but no revert from any technician till now. am sure that this piece of ac is defective piece from the day one but it took us 5 days to understand that. company like TATA with such a brand image playing with emotions and trust of people by manufacturing and delivering such defective pieces to customers. now i do not want to spend time with defective piece and want it to be replaced on urgent basis. please give me some permanent solution of this problem.
