We, at CGSI, have been constantly taking up with RTA regarding introduction of Electronic Meters for Taxis and Autos in Mumbai. But powerful unions backed up by their political masters have been successful in blocking this.
Anyway, during my last visit to Delhi I found that though they have introduced Electronic Meters none are functioning. The meters looked like made in roadside garages.
Unless some reputed manufacturer starts making these meters introducing the same may not be useful.

my name satbir singh my elactricity metar was not working , metar was showing 00 reading and average bill we was paying and we made many complant to change metar , but they donot change metar and in august 2004 they sent 6288 reading bill
