Dear Sir,<br><br>Noida Power Corporation has taken up the responsibility from Greater Noida Authority to provide&nbsp;uninterrupted&nbsp;electric supply to its&nbsp;residence.&nbsp;Instead&nbsp;of that they have been maintaining 6-10&nbsp;hours&nbsp;outage every day during summer and 4-6 hours in winters. Moreover, they are charging the meter rent (that they have now&nbsp;rechristened&nbsp;as Fixed charged) every month and is ever&nbsp;increasing. &nbsp;The meter&nbsp;that must working for the whole&nbsp;months to justify the charged amount, is actually&nbsp;works&nbsp;for its 50-60% duration in summer and 80% in winter.&nbsp;<br>I would like to request you that since we the&nbsp;consumer&nbsp;who are forced to install alternative device at our house be it inverter or&nbsp;Generators, &nbsp;to overcome their NPCL's&nbsp;inefficiency&nbsp;, we would like you to order the NPCL&nbsp;authority&nbsp;to charge the Meter Rent (Fixed Charge)&nbsp;proportionally&nbsp;to the total number of hours of&nbsp;electricity&nbsp;actually supplied w.r.t. total number of hours in that month.<br><br>Thanking You<br><br>Shiladitya Banerjea<br>G-530, ALpha- II, Greater Noida- UP-201306
