Respected Sir/Madam,

I Zeeshan Sayed on behalf of my mother Mrs. Fatima Anis Sayed would like to bring to your notice that we were send an amendment from the BEST (B-Ward) dated :- 09/04/2010 (A/c # 431-049-173*6) which was received by us on friday 30th of April 2010, where it states that we need to pay an amount of Rs.2593, under the Defective Meter Amendment.

We had the new meter installed and since it went defective we received the letter stating that the BEST would change the meter, the letter was sent to us dated 4/9/2009, yet after getting the new meter installed it was defective again and once again it was changed.

As we do not stay in the buliding as its under repair the electricity is not being used and now we got the bill with this huge amount appearing. Would request you to kindly help us out as before installing the new meter the BEST personel did check as to what things are in the house and yet due to no fault of ours we are being penalised.
