    Thumbs down Exide battery back up problem

    Dear Sir,

    I was very impressed with the quality of exide batteries. I purchased on Jul 2009 .But recently it has been experienced that the quality of these batteries has gone to worst. I had purchased a INVA 135 AH [ 4F9124161] Initially it gives back up to 2.5 hrs then it keep on reduce to .30 min with in the 20 months. I was shocked to see that back up of the battery . then I contacted dealer it was told to me that replacement of battery company will give only 25 % off remaining amount customer has to bear. I dint understand why I should bear the cost when it is manufacturing problem have contacted service manager but no use no proper response. Very poor service and response by EXIDE service center.
    What is next action ??????

    Dear Sir,
    We brought on 13-07-2010 a EXIDE I R-500+ Red Tabular Battery 77803 from G-2 Savitri Sadan 2, 15, Preet Vihar, Commercial Complex, Vikas Marg, Delhi- 92.

    Now this battery for last 2 months giving us plenty of problems, its back-up reduced up to less than 1/2 hour.
    We had then spoken to Dealer and then he suggested us to call its complain cell to file a complaint. We then registered a complain on 20th of August 2011. Exide call centre has provided us some numbers of their employee or contractors which is not responding to our call, we have made a number of calls since then to each and every person they are primarily Rajendir Singh, Rajeet, Ashwin, etc.

    Today they send some person to our home to check the status and offer us a back-up battery which was lesser power then my current battery, he also boasted that he works under some contractor so he clueless and can’t help.

    I am just looking for a kind advice and suggestion how to take this slackness of after sale service from this renowned company.
    We using battery at our home for last 8 years, and this is 1st time having such a painful time from this company. It’s truly sad to experience the behavior of Exide company employee.

    We have all the conversation and phone number with us to all above concern persons of the company

    Default Exide battery performance

    I have purchsed exide battery inva tubular, IT500 in Dec 2009, with the hope of better brand name and warranty for 48 months.
    Within 6 months we realised battery has poor backup for less than 20 min with single lamp.
    Battery was sent back to dealer.As per dealer, Exide cleared OK for this battery and good in condition.
    Please think 100 times before you buy Exide battery due to poor service.

    Question complaint of joom battery

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I have purchased a zoom battery for my splendor byke hero honda made on 09 dec 2010 from an authorized dealer of Hero Honda. But after couple of month my bykes Horn and lights had stopped working. I went to mechanic, he advised to change the horn first then indicators but no body has told me about battery. I have also get it recharged from hero honda service center. But the problem was being same. But in the month of Nov 2011 I came to know that battery is not working. So, I went to that dealer from where I have purchased that battery and told the problem. They asked me to show the warranty card but unfortunately I approached late by two days according to the time of warranty. Now my question is that the battery got problem after two month of purchasing, So, this is my request if battery could be replaced.

    Angry my inverter battery invo exide is not giving

    i am unfortunate man 74 years old man who purchased invasafe 400 on 8/5/2011 batch no 4 pc sl no. 1931637
    from MATRIX HYDEERABAD A.P. I BOOK MY COMPLAINED ON 9.11.2011 TO 1800.103.5454 COMPLAINT NO. SAHO 00001642 AT 9.00 AM. I WAS PROMISED SERVICE AFTER 2 OR 3 DAYS. WHEN NO BODY TURNED I ASKED AGAIN GIVING MY REFERENCE NO. AND REGISERTION NO. 400-40G19311637. I WAS ASKED TO CONTACT MR. RAJEETH HYD DIVISION INCHARGE. HE ASKED ME TAKE THE BATTERY TO SERIVCE CENTRE WHICH IS AT A FAR OFF PLACE MY RESIDENCE. THEN I COMPLAINT THEY I WAS GIVEN CELL NO. OF MR PARBHAKARN WHO IS SUPERIOR OFFICER TO MR RANJEETH. WHO ASKED ME CONTACT THE SHOP FROM WHICH I PURCHASED THE BATTERY. HE PROMISED TO SEND AND ASKED ME MAIL MY ADDRESS. BUT NO RESPONCE FROM HIM TO
    THE BATTERY AS YOU KNOW WEIGHS MORE THAN 100 KG CAN BE LIFTED BY THE SINGLE OLD MANY OF 74.

    Default I have purchased EXIDE INVA TUBULAR BATTERY IT 500

    I have purchased EXIDE INVA QUEEN TUBULAR BATTERY IT 500 + ON 21TH APRIL 2010.Its just 13 months, my battery backup reduced to only 1/2hr.I have complained to dealer from where i purchased it but, there is no responce from them.i have tired to call them to solve my problem but they never try to solve my problem, sometimes they disconect my cal, or misbehave.so i have posted my problem here because i think only u people can solve my problem IN THE MEAN TIME I M POSTED TO LUCKNOW .i want to give the full details of my battery details:-

    i purchased exide inva tubalar in august 2009 and the warrenty for the item was for 48 months, today the back up is zero.... what should i do...
