I booked a domain name with rediff.com on 28th october. My credit card
was charged same day but I got the domain registration details on 4th
october. Then I logged in to their control panel to change the
nameservers and make the necessary changes. I waited for 48 hrs and
found that their online system was dummy and it is not changing
anything. Since that dayI am sending them 4-5 email every day and they
are reply back that they have forwarded the request to their technical
department and I should wait for 24-48 hours. When nothing happned till
today I called them and talked to their customer support she was so
rude.. and she again said that she will forward my request to get it
changed manually and hangged the phone. if you can provide me the
contact details of any of their senior executive I would be very
thankful to you.

Logged a complaint in police.

My order for domain registration was approved by rediff on 13 Jan, 2009. Subsequently I asked for transfer code in order to apply for web hosting. Though I requested several times rediff customer support is not responding. Once a guy from customer support informed me that transer code is not required for hosting. I replied him that it is required because I want to use another hosting company.

I did not think that org. like rediff.com is fraudulent one.

Send a email to their support team and ask them the autorization code within the mentioned time a mentioned in their TOC.

Rediff people out there are just kids. After about 6 months of transferring one domain out of Rediff, their representative calls and asks me to renew it - she didn't even check it out that the domain is not with Rediff anymore! About transfer codes, I never had any problem; as soon as I requested from the registered email id, they sent me the transfer secret code. I had many domains with Rediff, but I had to transfer all of them just because their authorized courier company wasn't punctual about picking up cheques from my place; in one instance I was in my last week from renewal date, I had to send cheque via EMS Speed Post to get it done urgently.
