    Default myway IPTV connection

    Hi,

    I am writing in refernece to myway IPTV connection.
    The MW WAY executive collected a cheque of rs.2000 on 18th AUG saying
    that the connection would setup in 10-12 days.
    Its been more than 20 days and no correspondence from there side.I
    have called the customer care number many times(1860-26-69929) and the
    executive/manager keeps on telling to wait for 2-3 days more.
    My request is recorded in their details by num 011-22742310 and a CAF number.
    I am fed up of such poor service,according to them it takes a month to
    setup a connection.

    Please advice on this!!

    Default Myway IPtv worst service and misleading promotions

    I applied for connection on 20th august 2009 caf number60024278. The ppl who came collected a cheque of Rs 2000 with great promises and then disappeared .after repeated calls from our side even after 10 days they were nowhere to be seen .Finally some ppl came to install it on 2nd september but couldnt .then after much of struggle on 4th september they finally installed the worst tv service which continously freezes the system hangs up every few seconds but they said it will be over the next day but actually it became worse. So finally we asked for a refund also mailed them at help@myway.in .And till today the connection neither works nor ve we got our money back .
    Please intervene

    Unhappy Refund for the cancellation of MYWAY IPTV

    I had subscribed for MYWAY IPTV connection and paid the cheque on July 23, 2009.

    On July 24, 2009 their technician came to install it but could not do so due to technical reasons.

    Despite repeated follow ups, when the installation was not done even after one week, I sent a e-mail on August 01, 2009 to their customer care e-mail address help@myway.in asking for cancellation of the subscription and this was acknowledged on August 03, 2009.

    I have been sending mails and calling their helpline frequently and each time I am told that my request is "under process".

    I have not got the refund even as of today September 16, 2009 ( 46 Days ).

    It is pathetic that such unethical companies are perpetrating such fraud on their customers and are allowed to do business in India.

    I would like to explore the options of holding them to accountable.

    I had called him up and he had said that the refund would reach me by Friday, September 05, 2009.

    Today is September 09, 2009 and the refund has still not reached.

    Why don't you stop playing these stupid games and just give me back my money without further delay???

    I got a call from your one of your sales personnel with the offer of your myway IPTV.

    After much hesitation I decided to go for the subscription and made the payment on July 23, 2009.

    Your Technical person came on July 24, 2009 to install but could not do it because of some ' Technical Problem ".

    He promised to come the next day to complete the installation but did not turn up. The installation has not happened even as of now.

    I have repeatedly called up your help line to find out the cause of the delay. I am not getting any clear answers.

    I want immediate resolution of the problem.

    I would like to inform all of you that if you are searching for DTH service so PLEASE do not take MYWAY IPTV DTH service. It is a bad service and there is a unresponsibele customer care executives.
    It gives you fake satisfaction I m suffering from that
    So all the customer this is an attantion for you

    Default complaint about bad service

    I am writing in reference to MYWAY IPTV connection.My IPTV connection is through my Landline connection i.e. 05122631686,but it serves a bad service. It hangs on 0 (zero) as it intializes since last 10 days.Previously a complaint has been filed on complaint number 0001,but due to net connection complaint has not been seeked. Further this complaint is lodged .I am fed up of such a poor sevice.
    I expect a positive service from your side as soon as possible.kindly solve this problem as soon as possible.

    Dear Mr. Ojha,

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

    Default Unethical marketing: Dishonoring offer commitments

    Sir,

    At the time of marketing their IPTV, the MyWay people had offered me FREE viewing of its ALL On-Demand contents for three months. However, just TWO days after installing the IPTV, they withdrew that facility.

    I spoke to their Help-Line, wrote to three of their senior marketing Managers viz., Mr.Kapil Gupta, Mr.Prashant Parekh and Mr. Sujan Chatterjee, with no avail!

    This is an exteremly bad, unethical and immoral thing that they did. Such thing should not have been done by an associate of nation renowned organisation viz., BSNL.

    Though it matters little to me whether they show some items free or not for some few months, the issue should be redressed to establish ethics in marketing!

    Default Poor service by MYWAY - IPTV

    I Subscribed to MYWAY-IPTV more then three months back. Their representative approached me and told that there are several features in IPTV and it is most advance technology and better then DTH. He convinced me to check for three months and told that the first three months there is a free offer to all the customers. He collected required documents and cheque from me. However, it took more than a month to get IPTV for activation of the service and I need to follow-up with the customer service to get the activation.

    Since then I faced lot of technical and function problems in the servers and raise my complaints to customer care. However, the customer service people closed the ticket without rectifying the problem the problems. The IPTV service is very poor. I tried to log the issue through on-line; there is a problem in the website. I tried to register my connection details in the website. I filled all the fields in the on-line form and submitted; however there is no mail confirmation for the same and user id was not generated. The following are some of the issues which I faced and were replicated in front of their technical team who visited my place.

    1. Channel freezing problem is there.
    2. No change in on-demand Movies for long time, now I am not able to watch most of the on-demand movies.
    3. No good games. Only 6 games are available, all are 2D games and not impressive.
    4. Kid’s interactive learning channels are not available.
    5. Takes lot of time to load and get initial channel. Some times it freezes and I’ve to restart the setup box and modem.
    6. Very few regional channels. No Sun network channels. They told that they have technology to upgrade more than 1000 odd channels. However, they are not bothered to upload free to air channels.
    7. No regional FM/radio channels. Now this service is suspended.
    8. No regional karaoke.
    9. Poor navigation screen and there is technical problem in channel navigation.
    10. Sound quality and picture qualities are not good. DTH is 100 times better than IPTV as of now.
    11. Unable to read the complete program title and other details. Sometimes program details are not available.
    12. There is no update on time shift feature.
    13. Problem with remote.
    14. Only two language options available for Carton network, Toon Disney etc., where as there is chance to add other languages like telugu, tamil ect.
    15. There is no telugu life style program are available.

    I asked them not to bill me till they improve their service and correct their technical problems.

    I received a SMS stating that there is –ve balance in my account. I really wondered how there will be –ve balance without completing my three months subscription. I clearly asked them not to bill till they correct pending issues. Moreover I paid 300/- rupees excess through ICICI bank online. That amount is credited to my account. However, it is not updated in my IPTV account. My IPTV account is showing as –ve.

    I always want to be a pioneer in upgrading to new technology; however I feel I became gunny pig by purchasing IPTV some two months back. Since I have DTH as an alternative connection, I escaped from my family members comments and criticisms. Otherwise they should have criticized me a lot for projecting about iptv before getting connection based on their articles and material which they published in their website. Their representative told that I can get all telugu channels including Sun network channels before my connection get activated. There is no update on that so far. I fed up with IPTV and not feeling like watching any channel in IPTV. I want to raise my deep concern to ensure that this should not happened to any one else. Kindly investigate and do needful.

    Default Beggers in this sellers' market!

    Dear Mr. Nageswara Rao,

    We are all in the same boat! .... Paid money on trust. And, then after getting the money, MyWay is not keeping its words....

    MyWay knows that we shall not go to lodge a legal suit against them as that will cost us much more than the value benefits we are being deprived of.
    They know, we shall bark for a few days and then succumb! This is the welknown theory behind any cheating!

    In my case, what can I really do if MyWay does not allow me to view all the programmes as committed? Shall I file a legal suit? No. I shall write a few letters. Then lodhe complaints with Forums like this. And, finally console me by thinking that Rs.2000/= has been pick-pocketed! That's all!

    Will this "Consumer Court" help me fight the case? Will it pass on my grievances to MyWay? No!

    May be one or two people like you will write about their sufferances - which will bring some consolation to me. It will make me think that I am not the lone sufferer as there are many like me in the same boat!

    And, MyWay will continue making profit in its own way!

    Default Suggestion to consumer court

    Respected Judges (?) of Consumer Court,

    Since this Site has not been named as Consumer Forum , and calls itself a COURT and has Advocates/Moderators/Advisors etc. associated with it, my humble suggestion is, that it at least arranges our Complaints to reach the Companies we complain against and ensures that such Companies at least acknowledge the complaints. REDRESSAL may not be an easy task - so I do not expect this COURT to undertake that task.

    It is NO USE just ventilating our grievances for our mental satisfaction!

    Trust you will not misunderstand me.

    Dear members of this Site,

    I was just glancing through this Site. I found this to be a great site, receiving thousands of complaints of various types!

    Suddenly I came accross this fantastic suggestion of Mr. Sarit Ray!
    Yes!
    It is no use just crying in the woods!
    Complaints you make, must yield some result! And, for that, Mr. Ray's suggestion is a good one.

    The court should, henceforth, ask every complainant to provide the contact Mail ID of the Company he/she is complaining against and, forward the complaint to that concerned company with the request to reply within a stipulated date.

    The Court need not give any judgement of its own or arbitrate. The members will play the role of the Jury. If the members feel that the company is at fault, they will express their opinion openly through the Site. Though the members will not be able to take any legal action, the consequent loss of face and reputation of the Company will be its punishment.

    If this Court does not do this, the erring Companies will just ignore the complaints and remain silent and, with time, people will forget about such complaints - and, the companies will continue to do the same mischieves with others ....!

    The authorities of this ConsumerCourt websit MUST seriously consider Mr Sarit Ray's suggestion.

    Default irresponsible decoits at MYWAY IPTV

    During the last week of August 2009, when I visited an exhibition at chennai, i was approached by a representative calling himself from Myway IPTV and explained the features of Myway IPTV and persuaded me to get a connection. Relying on his words I filled up the form and remitted a cheque for Rs.1500/-. I was promised that very soon SUN network will also be available in Myway IPTV. As the Sun network, it seems, have not agreed for a contract with Myway IPTV, till date, the promise is not fulfilled. On account of this, I decided to cancel the connection and spoke to the customer care no. In response, they directed me to send an e mail to help@myway.in. I did not get any response. Again I sent another e mail. For that also, I did not get any reply. Repeatedly I am giving e mail. I don't know what to do. Let them not refund my deposit of Rs.1500 but let them not charge subscription from me as I have already removed all the connections and packed it in a box. I hope the consumer Court, I believe, will come to my rescue, else there is no difference between the people like Myway beggars and the forum. Sorry, for writing like this, but the way in which, corporate people behave in a country like ours is a shame and such behaviour is worse than begging but we may term it decoiting with the help of BSNL.

    please send a registered letter stating your version to their registered address and then even if they charge then cannot recover from you as you have already told them in writing that you are not using it any more and the fault is from their end sir

    I have the same story which you guys have narrated.
    I have paid 1500/- on Oct 4th 2009 and till date nothing has happened.
    I have been calling their customer care and heard the same old reply.."case esclated to technical team and they will call soon". Its 45 days past and i do not see a point in waiting for their connection. I have written to their email id : help@myway.in asking for cancellation of my application and refund of my money. They have not responded,today i have sent a remainder to them..Thinking of filing a case in Consumer court in Hyderbad.Before that i will send a letter to their head office through registered post.
    If anybody has better solutions..please advise me.
