problem with digital TV services I am an Airtel DTH customer since a long time –
I have a concern with regard to digital TV services which I am facing,
and would like bring this to your attention Urgently.
I am based in Jammu (J&K) and i m facing problem in my Digital TV (which is not receiving Signals) from last more than 6 months and during this period i made lots of complaints but not a single response i received. even during this 6 months period i received many calls from Airtel executives regarding recharging of my account and i shared my problem with them also.
so i m really fed up and made my mind to register this case in consumer court

poor service of customer care i am customer of airtel DTH customer id 3001545839. i have given request for my digital TV as i want new channels like zee premier, star gold hitz, superhitz etc. the customer care told me that my antenna is connected to satellite 1 and i cant not get these services. i need to realign my antenna to satelite 2. earlier company was broadcosting from satelite1 and now they changed to satellite 2. they booked a request for engineer visit free of cost. the 1st request was taken on Nov 11. again i have requested on 21 Mar 12 for the same as my problem was not resolved. from that day i got so many calls from engineers but they are asking for money else they are not agree to come. i told the whole matter to customer care they lodged a complaint also but no response next day same story. from that day i am calling everyday for the same but nothing has been done... everyday new person picks up the call i have to tell the whole story and same they are taking a request that is none of use.... why they are not directly contacting to area manager.. i am asking to tell them wat is the next step for a complaint. but they didn't tell.... if some job is not done there should be anyone to listen the customers out of way.... no company can run like this..... i m totally unsatisfied with the customer service method to complain....

HI
This is reference to My 18155528 (customer ID 3006149737) dt 26.04.3012 received by you at 10.40.42 am.
In spite of several reminders my problem is un resolved till to day and facing disconnection of my calls .Now I have come to a conclusion to disconnect AIRTEL DTH and ask refund for my balance in my account and also the cost STB collected from me to replace old with new. Since date of replacement i.e 10.03.2012, STB is not working properly.
1. The Day one STB cable jack is not working, but your engineer has told that HDMI cable is not working and made us to replace it. But every day it made us sit in front TV to adjust cable.
2. In subsequent call I have been told my SONY TV HDMI jack in working and to check it with TV people. And connected TV with VIDIO cable. But in fact my TV HDMI jack is working and confirmed by TV service people that it not TV problem and is STB problem
Suddenly STB is stopped working on 22.03.12, as I have to go to Mumbai and no one is there at home to attend, I have given complaint on 26.04.12 for replacement by explaining the problem after coming back. I have taken leave (it cost me Rs.1000) and stayed back at home waiting for your engineer/technician. He came at around 4 PM your technician/engineer (mob no.8951242363) came without any alternative and declared my STB is not working and they do not have stock to replace and will be replaced as when they get stock.
Subsequently I have made to your call centre (12150) spoken to your officers and my problem is not solved. Whenever they told they transferring my call to their supervisor I have faced call disconnection and this is happened continuously. I understood that they have taken this root to disconnect my call and stopped calling. Suddenly I have received a call from your call centre (Phone No.4045545050) to day i.e 28.04.12 at 9.35AM to enquire whether my problem is resolved or not, after listening to me she has told my problem is resolved before evening 4.30PM. But immediately after putting down the by her I have received SMS saying my problem with complaint no 18155528 is resolved and new complaint booked with 18204892 and problem is unresolved. This is nothing but an act to keep your customer call performance and not to resolve their problems.
By seeing the I come to understanding that you are not able to provide services to customers as your customer base is increased beyond your control like government school.
I think will get better services from local cable operators than you. Only problem with them is we may not get TV when there is no power. But we never face this type of probles. We need not pay 200% higher charges and call charges (100per call), replacement charges(750) for poor services like this.
Now my humble request to you is to take way your non working STB by paying back replacement charges paid by me. And also request you refund my account balance RS.327/- immediately with out any dely.
With anticipation ,atleast, Airtel refund my money

I recharged today morning Rs. 800 through american express credit card. amount debited , but not updated my account. Transaction number 369261468893275469
Now I recharged Rs.100 through net banking. that also note updated but, debited in my account Transaction number S3809997.
Total amount 800+100 = 900 to be add my account. Pls rectify my problem & update my amount to my a/c. Thanks.

Customer ID-3008678255 Wrost Service From Airtel My HD Set top box is replaced 15 days back, now from last 6-7 days new set top box also giving many problems (No Audio, unable to change channels, sometimes Airtel remote control not working & many more).
The answer I am getting from Airtel customer support is they do not have HD Set top box in Pune, so can’t you do anything till you got HD set top box in stock?
• My question is why can’t Airtel request new HD set top box from any other nearby cities & get it replaced?
• If Airtel can’t do this, what kind of service is Airtel providing to customer even after paying so much of amount, in first place how could you even debit/deduct money from the customer if there is pending problem at Airtel's end? Is it a fare thing to do? Need answer please.
• What are Airtel's SLAs to resolve the problem?
If I asked who is on duty manager, your representative doesn't answer that question either. Where do we escalate such issue?

Remote for Airtel DTH Dear Sir
My consumer id is 3000475622, I have been a loyal customer of your company from last several years, although your company is pledged not to provide any kind of services as and when required by the customers, I have several interactions with your customer care but none of which was fruitful.
Please let me know whether there are any plans to shut the customer care operations or If it really exists when I am going to receive my remote.
