This is Ratnesh from Navi Mumbai. I've taken Airtel DTH connection(Customer ID: 3007640065) around 9 monts ago. Initially I was in Kolkata and now I've shifted to Navi Mumbai in the month of September. I've taken AIRTEL DTH "ULTRA" Package here in Navi Mumbai for which I'm paying Rs. 397 pm but I'm not getting transmission for almost 50% of channels here.

Every time I speak to customer care, they open a service request and tells me that your transmission is currently through old satellite, that's why you are unable to view. This needs to be shifted to new satellite. They have opened almost 11-12 service request in past three months but the issue has not yet been addressed. In one of my conversation with customer care they even told me to go to regional head if I want but it would certainly take some time to resolve.

As a consumer, I personally believe, it is none of my business whether transmission of a particular channel is through a new satellite or a new one. Precisely, they can receive it from another solar system if they are so capable of. But, I'm concerned about receiving services for the amount paid.

I'm not sure how long they need to fix the issue. In case they cannot fix it, they must tell me to switch over to another service provider but that too is not being communicated and I'm being promised everytime for a fix within 8 hrs.

Can you pls help?
