Dear Sir,

This is with reference to my Tata Sky+ HD connection with Tata Sky with customer ID 1020387070.

In the first week of December 2011 I had updated my set top box from Tata Sky+ to Tata Sky+ HD set top box which I had ordered through TataSky customer service. Right from day 1 the set top box is most of the time not working with the remote control hence I had put a written complain with Tata Sky. After repeated emails to TataSky, finally I received call from them saying the engineer will get in touch with me to check the set top box. Finally after 10-12 days the engineer visted my place and informed me that the problem is with the set top box and needs to be replaced but they do not have in stock hence I need to wait for another 3-4 days for which I agreed. After 3-4 days the engineer called me to replace the faulty set top box but to my surprise, the set top box which he had got for replacement was not a new one and an old repaired set top box in replacement of new set box which I had purchased hardly 10-15 days back which had been faulty from day 1 !!!!!

It has been very very dispointing to see the kind of services being provided by Tata Sky and even after repeated complains, the problem has not been sorted out even after almost a month.

Now since TataSky is not able to sort my problem by replacing my faulty set top box with a new set top box, I would like to cancel my subscription with TataSky and would like to have back the amount I had paid for the new set top box and the amount I had paid as my annual subscription to view channels along with the interest for the total amount. I have already put a written request by email to Tata Sky but unfortunately, there has been no reply or call from them regarding this.

Please kindly send to me the procedure to file the case against the company for providing faulty new set top box and then not replacing the same with another new set top box and to refund to me along with the interest the cost I had paid for the new set top box and annual subscription.

Looking forward to hear from you so that I can proceed accordingly.

Regards,
Manish Agarwal
