The atrocities and misuse of funds recharged by customers to sun direct
I charged my accounts 41330927629 for 650 in Nov. 25 2011, credit did not reflect and selecting any channels, on equiry i was confirmed on the information that 650 money is automatic extension of the basic plan.
After several and mails to Sundirect, refund of 590 happened in Nov. 30, wherein I had very specific issue of funds being consumed for extension of my accounts, though my account was valid till March 2012 and extended till Sep. 2012 automatically.
Fund was refunded, wherein I recharged some channels at 190 INR
Post the validity being complete in 29 Dec. 2011
I call the helpline to find that the balance amount is only Rs. 5 instead of Rs. 400.
On enquiry I find there is automatic validation of my accounts to Jun 2012, while my account is valid till March and I will definitely want to close the account on that day without any automatic extention of this account.
I had placed a complaint with the telephone helpdesk 1-441007776, after placing the call for one hour and post that I have been calling your helpdesk every day, either to hear this would be resolved without any resolution. finally the request was closed, saying they tried calling me and i didnot respond and hence it is closed.
First I want an explanation on the irresponsible behavior of the Sundirect call centre and an explanation for the torture I have gone through since then with multiple people saying the same story of automatic renewal, which is illegal. No account can be automatically used without confirmation of the customer and this is the third instance where this is repeated with Sundirect.
I would also need compensation from sundirect for the multiple hourly calls placed by me and also making the payment in Nov 2011 and wanting to activate some channels due to this I have missed this for almost a week now.
