    Post Airtel DTH Complaint Number : 14536141

    Dear Concerned,
    This regarding my Airtel DTH Account Number: 3008931979. I had subscribed to your Airtel DTH Connection for the 1 year ULTRA pack (I had paid Rs.4750/- One time yearly charge for the same), the same was provided by M/S: Shree Enterprises on the 3rd of October 2011. But I have been getting message saying that the services would be discontinued if I don’t recharge the same.

    But now the Network Partner M/S: Shree Enterprises has gone absconding and there is no one to revert to phone calls. I had launched a complaint regarding the same with your Customer Service Desk. The docket number for the same is 14536141. I had launched this complaint almost a month back and even after numerous follow ups there has been no revert from AIRTEL.

    Can you please help me with this.

    I am having Airtel DTH (Customer ID: 3000889049).

    While watching TV on 14/01/2012, all of a sudden I received an Error Message "There is a problem with the installation" and the error code is SM2. This problem was reported to Customer Care Centre immediately.

    From 14/01/2012 onwards daily I am contacting Customer Care Centre and they are giving false assurance. Even after 9 days, the problem was not attended to.

    Surprisingly for the same complaint they have given two complaint numbers: Complaint Numbers 15483037 and 15519916.

    Can you please help me.

    Airtel,

    I had Airtel Digital TV connection, but have closed it as the company demanded payment for a set top box that didn't respond after a year of nice service.
    Not ready to pay for a set top box, I have asked the connection to be discontinued.I had paid for the connection until Feb 2012.

    Some time back I had read on this forum that the service provide (Airtel in this case) is liable to refund the charges paid for hardware when the connection was first bought. This is as per a TRAI ruling.

    Can somebody provide more info on how to get this refund from Airtel?
