This is to inform you that I, Dr. Bishan Basu, Customer ID 3003199520,
am very irritated with the quality of Airtel's customer relationship
service.
I took the connection almost one and half years back and was satisfied
with the picture quality, clarity etc. The problem was with lodging
any complaint, which took an effort of at least half an hour to
register any trivial problem.
However, I considered that as a necessary evil and decided to tolerate
the problem and continued the service.
The main issue started almost four months back. Engineers from Airtel
informed me that the dish antenna had to shifted facing
south-east to get clear picture as well as to get access to all
channels. However, I informed that my flat does not have any free wall
in that direction and thus the shifting was not feasible. One of the
engineers visited my apartment and agreed with me.
Then I started getting multiple calls from the company asking me to
shift my antenna. I always gave the same reply and they were
satisfied.
After one month or so, the executives who called me started telling me
that my antenna has already been shifted according to their records,
which was surprising for me. I was also astonished to notice that for
a large company like Airtel, they did not bother to keep any records
of their calling, as no executive calling did know anything about the
previous call.
Disgusted, I decided to discontinue with the service.
Now, calls started coming asking me to recharge and continue with the
services. I explained my point, at first politely. and then,
irritatedly.
Ten days back, Airtel customer care executive Rajesh, trying hard to
talk in Bengali, misbehaved with me over telephone. I tried to ignore
that.
But, today, at around 10-00am, your customer care executive Prem,
again talking in his disgusting broken Bengali, behaved rudely with
me. He also surprised me by informing me that I have some dues with
the company, which is absolutely beyond my comprehension.
Now, I am taking the matter seriously and lodging this as an official complaint.
I hope to get some immediate result.
