We were happy customers of tatasky. We moved to a new home, so considering i have a airtel landline, broadband and mobile connection, moved to airtel DTH. My worst experience and a horribel service provider. I think they should term themselves as stress providers and not service providers.

Issues:
1) NO CUSTOMER ID - Call customer care, recorded message is asking for our registered customer id. I have no customer id on my set top box niether in MY Account details. So i cant access customer care- Eventually i manage to get through with great difficulty

2) NO REGISTERED MOBILE NO - Call customer care, my mobile no is not registered after having it registered my no at least 3 times in a span of 15 days.

2) CANT ACTIVATE A CHANNEL - Call customer care to activate a channel, they say i need to recharge my account. to recharge i try to do it on a website and the website says it needs a password which is sent to my registered mobile no. Waited for atleast 15 minutes to get a password but of no avail. So call Customer care again to give us a password and then he suggests we recharge through the customer care no 12150 on the phone. I call customer care again to recharge and then follow all the instructions, after 10 mins of following instructions i have landed to the same place again- PLEASE PROVIDE PASSWORD WHICH HAS BEEN SENT TO YOUR MOBILR NO. God help, i dont understand these guys, why do they need a password for someone who is willing to pay for the services. Anyway i was not successful, so i call customer care again to talk to the manager, but to my luck they connect me only to a supervisor and not to the manager. Manager never comes on the phone and if they do agree i am put on hold for a minimum of fifteen minutes. Eventually out of frustration i had to hang up. So was unsuccessful in talking to a manager or anyone for that matter. In fact i also didnt get to talk to anyone in english though i selected an option on the automated system to talk in english. Finally somebody calls back after fifteen minutes, i ask him t refund my money and disconnect my airtel DTH service, he readily agrees. I mean is this what our service industry is getting to. I request everyone to help me in getting this company to pay the price. This is absolutely unacceptable and they are ridiculing us, we as Indians are known world over to be compromising by nature and let go of thing easily. This is the main reason for companies like AIRTEL DTH to survive. I strongly recommend Airtel to stay in telephony services and not in DTH. TATSKY BY FAR IS OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARD, believe in customer service.
