    Default Complaint regardin Airtel Digital TV

    hello sir/madam,
    customer name: Dr. Shivaji Khedkar,
    airtel customer ID/number: 3007004954
    This is regarding airtel digital tv reinstalation. I called airtel digital tv for reinstallation on 02/12/2011/friday. they said it will be done on 03/12/2011/saturday 4.30 pm. it did not happened on saturday as they promised.

    i got a call from +918888885772, on 04/12/2011 morning saying tht it will be done today/04/12/2012 by 12.30.when I told him it was suppose to be a day before, he asked me who said that? I replied airtel digital tv customer care executive told me. Then tht person told me he is ch**ya. Wo Ch**ya hai jisne bol. i want to ask airtel are those people u hv hired? i was on loudspeaker when i was talking on the phone and there were childens and females around me. it was pretty embrassing for me if not for airtel. no one turned up as i was waiting till 2.30 pm. they had smsed me a number to call if it is not done. but tht number was not in use/does not exist.

    then i got call around 5.00pm saying tht some engineer will be cmg now. He did come at 6. But he was not having extra wire and connector which was required. So he said he will come next day afternoon. Without completing the work he was asking for the money for installation. Which I did not pay as it was incomplete installation.

    Next day tht is today I am still waiting for the person to come and do needful. Till then I called up 12150 to tell everything happened. It took me 5 min to explain the story. I wanted to speak some senior person as compliants do not reach senior people and tht is the reason customer hv to suffer. So I told him to connect my call to some senior person which he did and I was kept waiting on call for 10 mins. Again I called for same purpose again I told him tht I want to talk to senior person he said I will do tht but tell me wat is the problem. Again I explained him whole story n then told him I want to talk to some senior person, again I was connected to some other line where I was waiting for 10 more mins but in vein.

    I could not reach any senior person above customer care executives.

    So I hv decided tht once so called engineer comes for the installation, he will do the needful. Then he will ask me for the charges. I want him to wait for 3 days for the charges as I had to wait. Or else airtel should do free installation if it is not done in time.
    As per my knowledge installations and re installations are done by 3rd party. Airtel customer care executives only assures tht it will be done n sorry for all the inconvenience. But they should connect customers to some senior person when customer wants to talk to them.

    In India we have a habit of forget and forgive about everything. And all these service provider take advantage of it. i am waiting for for reply and i am very curious to know wat reply i get from airtel.
