    Angry worst assistance

    To,
    The Manager,
    Airtel Digital TV
    Mumbai.
    I the undersigned Mr. Sambhaji N. Desai, Airtel Digital TV customer (TV ID-3001018353) had complained about the malfunction of the digital TV set top box (dated 18th nov 2011). Your coordinator told that they will be sending a technician to rectify the problem, we have to pay RS. 100/- we agreed for the same & nothing else was conveyed about any other expenses related to the same. The very next day i.e. 19thnov11 your technician came, rectified the problem (replaced digital TV receiver) we paid him the agreed amount & when we demanded for the receipt of the same he denied giving some rubbish reason, & even he didn’t tell us about the charges i.e. Rs. 350/- would be debited from our account if we replace the set top box moreover, he took away our set top box without any intimation. The balance before complaining was approx Rs. 410/- which dropped to Rs. 25/- after service & the same pop up reflected on the TV screen at regular intervals. To have the knowledge of the same when contacted (Dated- 21nov11 ;9:30pm) that too after hard efforts, your customer care coordinator Mr. Sahu told that it is the company property & does not belong to you & is liable to be taken away, the same was conveyed by supervisor/Teamleader Mr. Ashish Pandey. If so is the policy of your company & such is the attitude, then why is the service issued on my name & why not on the company’s name if we don’t own it, are the customers only to pay, don’t we have any access on our property. Your people can come & directly take away the our property without any prior intimation of proper communication regarding the same. If your people would have given me the clear idea about the charges before replacing the device, I would have think over twice to carry on for the same repairs. But, now I want the total amount debited from my account to be reimbursed within 24hrs or else I’ll escalate the same to the next level. Moreover, today(Dated 26th nov11 ;11:30am) when I contacted your customer care for the Company mail ID, another coordinator told that the technician have no right to take the device away if you have paid the amount for the same, you can check the recording, & acknowledge at the earliest.
