Videocon D2H HD Cheats customer. It's just a Con! Videocon D2H claims to give full HD channels as part of their service, and their website claims Dolby digital audio along with their HD Satellite Box.
However, their HD Satellite box doesn't even have an Optical Audio Output that is required for a Surround Sound or Dolby Digital Audio output. Only HDMI cable provides a stereo audio output, which is NOT at all HD. One of the service personnel informed me that if I connect S/PDIF cable from the HD box to my A/V receiver of home theater, then I'd get a 5.1 channel output. I even bought a good quality S/PDIF cable and connected, but still it has no 5.1 channel output. All it gave is a slightly better quality Stereo output.
This is pure cheating by Videocon, by falsely claiming to provide HD service, whereas HD audio is not provided by them at all.
How can I get my money Rs. 2650/- refunded from them?
