I wanted to take a HD satelite connection from your VIDEOCON recently and hence I contacted VIDEOCON over phone on 15.10.2011.
They offered us the following packages:
aa) price 2690(including standard installation) +free 2 month Platinum HD pack + 400 cash back
or alternately
bb) price 2690(including standard installation)+free 3 month new gold sports+45 days HD GLOBE add-on+ 400 cash back.
The offer was same with their online portal as well as with retail outlets at Dombivli.
Since thro' online I got a 400 cash back offer, I placed the order thro' online for the second option, i.e 3 months new gold package+add on HDG for 45 days.
I placed an order for "SATELITE HD BOX" on dtd 15.10.2011.
I got the installation done by videocon on 16.10.2011.
Now after installation, the installation- fellow told me that HD PLATINUM pack is active( Though as per my order it should be the other one)
But from 19.10.2011 morning the package has been changed to "NEW GOLD Sports+ HD globe add-on" but in the night 10.30 pm the "HD GLOBE add-on" has been taken off.
When I contacted vediocon customer care in the night 19.10,he informed me that the HD GLOBE ADD-ON will be started within 2 hours.But till morning it has not been started and I called again on 20th Morning and customer care person (Mr. Rajiv) told me that his senior will call me shortly.But nobody turned .
At 10.45 hrs I again contacted your customer care and lodged my complaint.
The person (Mr. Santosh) was telling that as per the sr. no. of product , I have been given 27 days HD Platinum pack free.
But it is not at all acceptable to me and it is unfair practice of buisness.When I ordered I was told the above mentioned packages and accordingly I ordered the same.
As per My order I should be given the following package:
NEW GOLD SPORTS( 3 MONTHS, I.E UPTO 16.1.2012) WITH HD GLOBE ADD ON( 45 DAYS, I.E UPTO 1.12.2011)
Now customer care is telling since I make a complaint they have changed the package to my desired one but they have charged me for the same. As a result my account is negative and it has been deactivated.Now I have no connection at all.
It is quite pathetic experience from videocon.
First of all I have not got the product which I have ordered.
THEN INSTALLATION HAS BEEN DONE BY VEDIOCON ENGINEER ONLY AND ACTIVATED THE PLAN WITHOUT ASKING ME OR WHAT I HAVE ORDERED.
When I complain them I am being charged and my connection got deactivated.
Can I take a legal stand against them .
