    Post Airtel Customar Care - talking to customer care has become an agony

    I've had the most disgusting experiance when dealing with Airtel Cuatomer Care. I was informed that if the payment for a new connection is made via the IVR on the call itself, the installation would be completed within 24 hours. the Customer service personnel in question was Karan. i found out later that this information was incorrect and that the time taken for the installation was in the least 48 hours. After waiting for 72 hours, i decided to call the customer care and check on the status where i was given the local number of the unit that would do the installation. I called them and was informed that installtion was not possible on that day and they can only do it the next morning. thinking this to be true i went about my work the next day which happened to be a Sunday. I called the customer care again and then things went from bad to worse.

    The line kept getting disconnected to begin with. I called the customer care atleast 8 times before i was able to have a decent conversation with one Fatima. i explained to her what my situationn was and requested her to transfer the call to a supervisor as i was tired with all the calls getting disconnected. i was refused the same with the excuse that all the supervisors were in a meeting. I explained to her that i have been on the phone for the last 1 hour and i just didnt have anymore energy to wait some more. i asked her for a refund and she hung up on me saying she will request for it to be done and that Karan will call me in 10 mins. I was not even given a customer ID; just a transaction nmber for the credit card payment which is 17220756.

    Should this be my fate with Airtel?to say the least, ive spent the entire Sunday morning(which is the only free day i get) in utmost agony.

    Default Be Aware:Nevergo for Airtel DTH (Cus.rep will disconnet the call, you will be helples

    I took the yearly DTH package......My customer id is 3009004637 for airtel dth ...... My advice for people seeking new DTH Connection :- Never Ever Book an Airtel DTH Connection. The Customer Service team is totally worst, fraud and will just give false information. (You will be helpless at that time )
    If you contact them with any DTH complaints, they will just disconnect the call.
    Your money will be clocked (yearly connection) and the service will be worst than government office.
    Please be aware to avoid unnecessary Headaches.
