I bought Airtel TV connection in 2008 Novemeber for South Gold. I also paid separately rs 100 and activated Neo Sports for three mopnths.

Eventhough my subscription was running upto May 2009, I got a message from Airtel TV that it will be disconnected unless I renew Neo pack immediately in the month of March 2009. Despite my pleads I got a message the connection will be disconnected unless I pay for Neo I had to necessarily pay for Neo for next few months and had my connection intact

My subscription was ending in May 2009 and two days prior to the date I made a payment of rs 3000 for continuing the services. I got an instant receipt my SMS and the Acoount indicated the amount I have in balance and service continued without any problem till date However on 12th August 2009 by 2 PM I did not get Tamil Channels like Jaya, Kalaignar etc I called up toll free number and enquired about the problem by giving my Mobile Number They ppromptly said I have changed my subscription from Gold to economy and I had ro pay extra for activating the Tamil channels
I bought the TV in Novembetr 2009
It was renewed promptly in May 2009
Enough amount was deposited to ensure continuance
No option was given and request was made to continue the services
Despite this, Airtel Tv has dislodged the services provided to me
My complaint Number is 929302
Switching over from one scheme to another without any request from the consumer amounts to unfair trade ptactices and requires action against the sewrvice provider
