    Angry Complaint against reliance big tv

    Hi

    I Vipin Kumar Gupta purchased a new starter pack of bigtv on 26th of July and I purchased two Rs 25 coupons extra. I got it installed on 26th July. From that day my account balance is decrementing day by day. I investigated it from customer care, they said they are seeing only two recharges in my account (Rs 200 and Rs 25). Where are the recharge vouchers of Rs100 and Rs 25. I have all the coupons with my self.

    Serial numbers of vouchers are given below : -

    Rs 200 - 8009860787
    Rs 100 - 8024391289
    Rs 25 - 8006892155
    Rs 25 - 8006892156

    I spoke to the executive (Mr. Ajit 9811715031), he is saying that he recharged all the vouchers. I am not getting good response from the customer care. I am really fed up from it. Please solve it if you can.

    Default Reliance big tv extra money deducted

    i got popular pack on my tv which was valid upto 17-9-2009 , which was confirmed with the customer centre many times . on 8-9-2009 i got recharged for rs2000/- which on adjustment came to rs 1988/- . upto 14-9-2009 the balance in my account was rs 1988/- . on 16-9-2009 i called the customer care centre to activate my silver pack for one year but i was shocked to know that my balance was rs 1958 /-, and they asked me to recharge more so that silver pack is activated for rs 1985/- .when i told them that they have deducted my ammount of rs 30/- more and unnecessarily they told me that it will be adjusted and also told me that my complaint has been noted down. after 6 days i again reminded them for the same then again they told me that it will be adjusted but not done . i want that my 30/- ruppees that are charged without any reason may be adjusted .

    Dear All,

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

    Default Complaint : Incorrect and Fraudulent Billing

    I subscribed to BigTv Services on 20th-Sept-2009, my Subscriber Id - 20 0726 xxxx 44. My account has been suspended due to incorrect billing at your end.

    I requested a re-location/shifting of my connection from one location to another. For this relocation I paid/recharged by account with Rs750.After relocation, my account was deducted with more than Rs.1100.

    I have been chasing the Reliance Big TV Customer Care to get clarification on why I was charged Rs1100 instead of Rs700(for reloacation). I further recharged with a sum of Rs 437 hoping that now it would be activated, and even that is NOT being reflected.

    Consumers dont even have a way to check account statements, credits,debits everything happens in a way which a consumer can never know. It has been a harassment talking to Customer Care, being put on hold for hours by them. I have been wasting my time, energy and seems my money too is gone. After almost several days of repeated attempts to know whats the issue, still I am clueless and feel cheated by a big brand.

    Not only that, Big TV does not offer consumers a decent platform to raise complaints. The Customer Care do not even have a method to track complaints. I asked for complaint numbers and all they could say is they dont have the complaint registering system which can be tracked. You have any idea how ridiculous it sounds!

    Its a shame on a brand like Reliance to be "stealing" away money from consumers.

    Angry Really Pathetic Service and Customer Treatment

    Hi,

    I had purchased 1 year pack last year. It got over today. for that i recharged my account "200627969304" with RS 650. Just next moment when i checked my account it turned out that they had deducted RS 11 because of negative balance. After 1 hour when i checked they have again deducted RS 11. When i called Customer care they said because of the Elite pack and English pack they have deducted they money. When i checked my Big Tv service i was not able to view they channels. When i said this this to the Customer care executive "Named : Praveen" he said to wait. when he told me to check i was able to see they channels. Then i came to know what he did. He Not only activated that two packs he also activated the Total Pack also i.e South Special pack. When i asked him why he has done it like that he told that it happens automatically. I think before doing that they should have told that it will happen. My money got deducted for that pack (South special + Elite + English) and money got deducted. Actaully i wanted to subscribe for some other pack. But that executive is not ready to accept his mistake or Refund me back the money so that i can subscribe some other pack. This is really bad. This is a Fraud by the Customer Care executive as well as Company. Please help me out how to approach Consumer Forum or any other services so that proper step can be taken by me.

    Default problem for installation

    Sir,

    I am submitting few lines for your kind consideration.

    i have submitted cheque for installation reliance Big TV connection and my cheque amount already credited to your account. Your agent in Himayathnagar, Hyderabad, AP, stated and given date for installation on dt:27.11.2010. I accepted, but they did't come. After that, they phoned on dt:29.11.2010 and stated that today evening at 5 p.m.we will come and make installation. Even after we accepted that time they didnt come and further stated that, they have not sufficient material (Cable and others) and they have again asked me for next day time for installation. i.e., on Tuesday, that day i am not available in residence. REpeatedly, they are postponing dates for installation.

    Thus i am going for cancellation. Please remit back my amount.

    Guys,i hav stb1.after new software upgrade,whenever i tune into aaj tak,tez,hedlines today,ten group etc,signal lost of stb,and after 25-30 sec chanel restart automaticaly.i am realince custmor from oct 2008,but first time i getting this problem.plz help me.cc didn't help me.plz help me.

    Question big tv not working

    My big tv set top box gets restart automatically after every 10-15 mins

    This problem only after the software degradation before it was working fine. I have contacted the customer care but they are.unable to resolve my complaint and still nothing has been done to resolve this issue. If this doesnt gets resolve by tomorrow I have to go some other dth provider

    Default signal lost notice coming on reliance big TV

    hello I am a consumer of the reliance big tv DTH service and i have recently facing this particular problem with your service:
    smart card no : 200599705771

    recently whenever i switch on the television i get this message , error 400: signal is lost, i have checked wiring, connections and the dish antennae and everything seems to be fine on our part, so teh signal transmission from your reliance service is problematic due to which we have to face such unnecessary problem, earlier this problem used to happen very rarely and generally got fixed within couple of hours,but nowadays the problem has become severe and for 3 days continously we are getting these message that signal is lost, already we pay a bomb amount of money for you service for just handfull of channels and on top of that we have to face such inconvenience

    please kindly look into it

    Default Service not available to Poor Signal Quality

    Hi All,

    One day suddenly big tv serive got interrupted. So i tried moving around the dish as suggested by customer care.
    Then they suggested me do "First Installation" where they said that signal quality is poor.
    So they need to send the service man to the site to solve this issue. For this they will be charging Rs 175.

    Does it make sense of paying money for their poor signal facility?
    I dont think so..

    To try a work around i tried setting parameters like OL Frequency, polarization and other parameters.
    Bt still nothing worked

    Can anybody have faced such problem and resolved at your end?
    Or do i need to get back to those cheaters (Reliance)?

    Lightbulb Relaince Big TV, HD DVR BOX not replaced 1month

    My Reliance Big TV Subscriber ID 200858688195
    My HD DVR Box was not working and I made a complaint on 28th Oct 2011, complaint service request no:164670396.
    They said the problem will be resolved within 48 hours .....but It was not resolved
    After making several attempts ....I made another complaint service request no164670396 on 12 nov 2011.
    and 14th Nov 2011 service request no165701882.
    It is almost one month now and still there is no proper response on when my issue will be resolved.
    Pl help me resolve this problem immediately...I am fed up with Reliance Big TV...STRONG ACTION needs to be taken

    Default non receipt of refund for cancellation of DTH

    THIS IS to bring to your kind notice that one Mr p. surendra agent of APPCO MARKETING (I) PVT LTD who is direct bussiness associate of Reliance tv DTH SERVICE CAME to my residence and gave details of scheme being offered by them,and i was not aware of the fraud going on in this company and just after he left taking a cheque for Rs 1490/- towards the cost and i just consulted my friends about this who told me this is a fraud company and ask him to cancel the contract and my husband sunil kumar kedia immediatly contacted the executive to cancel the contract and refund our amount.the executive promised to cancel the contract and refund my amount.we told him not to present the cheque for payment but to our surprise even after his promise he sent the cheque for payment and as we were busy with other works when we verified at our bank the cheque was cleared and the payment was paid to them on 29.2.2012.the cheque no 084645 of ing vysya bank for Rs 1490/- was paid to them.after the cheque was cleared we talked with the executive twice for refund but till date no action is taken from their side and we have sent three emails to their email id but no response from them.the contract form given by the executive has a serial no 122382.as we wanted to know the local office address but no one is giving the local number too.we request you to take up this issue and help us to get back our refund.

    I have purchased to multi connection of big tv and was told that is the most convenient thing, u can surrender one when u wish too as they are a seperate with each other, but to my suprise the money is deducted monthly for both of them if u pay in one and i want to surrender one connection , they told me it cannot be done and only u will get notice

    it looks like reliance company is a thief

    Thumbs down Reliance team cheating its customers

    My smart card No. is 200 641 944 349. I had a problem with my Big TV service and registered the complaint with Big TV team. But I have got a irresponsible response from the team. The sequence is as follows.
    11.03.12 – Complaint registered with big tv (Reg No. 174524346) for interruption in service.
    14.03.12 – Complaint closed without attending the defect and Rs. 175 has been deducted from the account.
    15.03.12 – Again contacted customer care and they have given service request no. 174807631 for refunding the amount, Since the problem was solved automatically on 15.03.12. The executive intimated that the fund will be transfer before evening of 19.03.12. but the same day itself the complaint is closed.
    20.03.12 - Contacted customer care once again and they have given new service request no. 175236349 for refunding the amount.
    21.03.12 – Service request no. 175236349 is closed without refunding.
    21.03.12 - Contacted customer care once again and they have given new service request no. 175307010 for refunding the amount.
    22.03.12 - Service request no. 175307010 is closed without refunding.

    Regarding the issue, I have called 4 times to the customer care and they have cheated me by giving false assurance. When talked with the executive I understood that they have given top instruction not to refund the amount. So I tried to talk to the customer care supervisor(or Manager) Mr. Giri Krishnan. But he didn’t attend the phone even after 39 minutes of hold on. Today on 10.05.2012, a message came from big TV that, if i failed to recharge big TV, service will be suspended.
    Please provide a solution for the same. Its not the matter of just 175 Rs. But they have cheated me by giving false assurances. I can produce the recorded conversation with the executives.
