We want to know what is the reason for banning the 'Peace TV'?

I am using 6ft dish. Is there anyway to get Peace tv in tat dish? what is the Original satellite details for Indian users to get Peace TV English channel. I am asking this because of seeing diffrnt details entered in 2 sites.

So i want to know which is the authorized site of peace tv.

It is really strange that none of the DTH services providers (whose sole purpose of introduction in India was "freedom of choice in TV telecast"!) are allowing peacetv on their network. My provider TATASky (TATA in collaboration with SKY network) too is amongst them. Interestingly, in US, peacetv is being shown on Sky network itself.

It is astonishing that in India, there is not a single religious channel for/of the second largest majority. (Muslims are the second majority, nationally as well as internationally).

Is this the same Majority appeasement that is being practiced since independence, with complete ignorance (intentionally?) by the media? what are all those talks of freedom of speech? are these rights only for filmstars, politicians or Gay/lesbian couples to defend their social crimes and propagate their baseless beliefs?


Anyways, for those who have a fast net connection, can watch peace tv and other islamic channels live over the intenet.

2. Register there free of cost.
3. Login with provided user name and password.
4. Click the tab 'Web TV FREE'
5. Watch any of the provided Free Islamic channels including peacetv english, peacetv US and peacetv urdu.

Also, in this year's 'peace conference' held at Somaiyya Grounds, Sion, Mumbai, India, they were providing setellite dish for peace tv at a discount price (6500 including dish, settop box and installation - peace channels as you all know are free to air, so NO monthly charges). Morever, many people can connect to a single peace tv satellite dish. So you can contact IRF regarding that. Contact information can be available from peacetv.org or

Why none of the satellite TV providers are telecasting Peace TV which is in fact the only Muslim channel in India, when they are telecasting nearly 10 to 20 channels of other religions.

This is another example of discrimination of Muslims in India.

Banning Peace TV is agianst the Indian right to Learn.

Open show of Racism and Religious discrimination in India !!! If not then what is it?, not one single dth provides Peace tv even when its a free to air channel. and it is not banned in India. Every DTh, be it Dish Tv, tata Sky, Big Tv, Sun DIrect or Videocon Dth, have a pack of five or six (5 or 6 ) devotional channels but none of them is for muslims?????

I am from Kannur, Kerala, and am using Asianet Cable service.

Once my father called their costumer care and asked for the Peace TV, (expect what!!) They replied that the Peace TV was "banned" in India and so they cannot air it anyway. So I humbly request someone help me what I should do...
Help me confirm whether their statement is true or false.

There is NO JUSTICE in this world.. Why are they using such dirty tactics against Islam. If they are true, then why dont they face it with truth in front.

people who love the quran and want its teachings be known to all shouldn't lose heart.
this is not the first time that 'truth' has had to struggle to just stand on its two feet.
the evidence of struggle itself shows that peace tv is on the right tract.
since time immemorial dictatorial regimes have tried to silence the voice of 'reason'.
ultimately the 'truth' has triumphed.

Dear friends, irrespective of which type of connection, whether DTH or CABLE we are not getting PEACE TV. This is a perfect example how truth is tested !!!
As ALLAH says " Did you think that you would enter Paradise without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? " [3:142]. So, keep the struggle going...Soon we will get it, INSHALLAH.

Although peace tv in not there in any of the digital dish tv like airtel, reliance, tata sky but it was being telecated here via cable tv in the districts of Darjeeling but recently they are not telecasting this site, and when inquired, they replied that broadcasting department of India had banned all foreign channels which are unregistered but God tv is being shown here........ What steps should we take and even if this channel demands a subscription I am ready to pay for it. Can any one tell me a proper reason. More over if any dish Tv operator is providing this channel, please tell me which operator. Please do take proper steps to solve this problem as soon as possible. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. As it is also mentioned in the constitution of our India " The RIGHT TO INFORMATION " and please do not discriminate the muslims of this country from knowing there own religion.
