    Default complaint against TATA SKY installation

    I (from Kolkata)booked one TATA SKY HD BOX online by calling to customer care at evening 6 on 2nd August, subscriber id: 10069759114. That time they confirmed me that installation engineers will be available at my convenient time i.e. after 6:30PM. But very next day morning their engineer called me back and asked for coming at day time only, which I refused because of non availability of myself at home. On the same day I called customer care again and tried to resettle the time and they booked the time again and also confirmed the availability of engineers after 6:30PM only(Request No: 1-11042775907). But very surprisingly on 5th August morning again their engineer called me back and refused to come after evening.
    Now my question is why I have to bear this additional problem even after booking the HD box with 6 months pack?Why I always have to be misguided between the customer care and installation engineer?

    I have purchased Tatasky HD + Multi TV Connection – 2 Connections in my home in Oct – Nov 2011.
    Now I am facing problem from Friday 16th Dec 2011 that one of the Set Top Box is showing no signal and second Set Top Box is completely OFF ( its not working and not showing POWER LIGHT – it has stopped working completely ).
    I have called 5-7 times in Customer care of tata sky but they r unable to solve.
    I recd a call from tata sky technician on Saturday 17 th Dec 2011 that he is coming in 15 mins.But he didn’t come. I called him again after 1 hr then he said he will be coming shortly. But again he didn’t come. I again called him and he said that he doesn’t have another set top box with him. I said to him that since you do not have the set top box at least solve the NO SIGNAL issue of 1st setp top box. He said Ok I will see. But he didn’t come , I again called him and he said he will come tomorrow Sunday 18th Dec 2011. But he didn’t come. Again I called him and now he’s saying he hasn’t got SET TOP BOX today also Sunday 18th Dec 2011.
    This is ridiculous for a company like tat sky which is a TATA co. That ur engineer calls and says that he’s coming and then he doesn’t come. Also I made almost 4-5 call in Tata sky customer care on Saturday 17th Dec 2011 and 2 calls on Sunday 18th Dec 2011
    Now both the connections ar OFF.

    At least solve the no signal issue with 1st connection set top box. Why are you keeping on hold ??????????

    So what is the step you are taking ?????

    Also I came to know from your Technical Engineer on Sunday 18th Dec 2011 and got it confirmed from your Customer Care that the faulty box in my home which has a warranty of 1 year will be replaced with some other repaired set top box of some other customer !!!!!!!!!
    How can a company like tatasky fool customers...?????
    If I buy ANY TV or any other electronic PRODUCT from from INDIA ( from any of the company in the market which sells electronic products in INDIA ) with 1 year warranty and some problem persists then the respective COMPANY will repair it and give the same repaired PRODUCT to me. They will never give me somebody else’s repaired PRODUCT to me. And if they are unable to repair it then they will replace it with new one.

    But TATA SKY is practising malpractice of giving me somebody’s else repaired SET TOP BOX.
    As a company it is your morality that you should repair my SET TOP BOX and return it to me. If you can’t repair then you should replace it with new one. You can’t give me somebody’s repaired SET TOP BOX to me.
