    Default Deducted money Rs1999 twice for HD upgrade

    My Airtel DTH customer ID is 3001803901, I had requested for Set-top box upgrade to HD. For upgrading, I called customer care at 12150, to get information on upgrade. Here i was told that i need to upgrade my exsisting account with 1999 and call them back after successfull recharge. As told, I recharged my account with 1999 using my Citibank creditcard. After recarging, i called customer care back on 12150, i requested them to upgrade my account, but got a reply, Sorry Sir, you cannot upgrade through customer care, we are not authorize to upgrade, you need to contact Upgrade department to place a request at 12148. As requested i made a call to 12148 to place a request. I spoke to agent and told him to take a request, he said, Sorry Sir we cannot take a request, as ur account is recharged for monthly package, you need to make a new payment, through IVR for 1999 again. I was told that amount 1999 which i have charged my account can be useed for monthly package, i was OK with making 1999 payment again. I did successfull IVR payment again through my citibank Credit Cardand got transation ID from agent as 19691513. I was told that ur request will be attended in 24-48 hours. I got a call from Airtel represntative for upgrade yesterday and my set-top box was upgraded to HD. After this i checked my airtel account which was recharged with 1999 was deducted with 1750. This was false commitment by agent that you can use ur money for monthly package, but it was deducted instantly. I called a customer care may times after this and got weired answers from different agent and was always disconnected in between conversation. Every time i had to explain all stuff again to new agents. I checked with Citibank for transactions on my card and they confirmed that there are 2 transaction on my account one with Bharati airtel ltd which i rechared my airtel account for 1999 and orther with Airtel DTH which I did through IVR. I went to airtel office on bannergatta road, to check the issue, and came to kno that only one transaction is done. I have details of my transaction and would like to take strict action on Airtel for frustrating and making me pay twice for one upgrade. I would require my 1999 back to my account and strict action on airtel customer care.

    Default Customer ID: 301022544 Multi room connection

    Hi,

    I bought airtel digital TV around 10 days back and my customer id is present in subject line.

    I was pretty much satisfied with the customer service at first go (first installation), after this, I thought of applying for multi room connection.

    Immediately, I called up customer care and asked for multi room connection. CC representative asked me to pay through IVR (Amount of 2190) and also she provided the transaction Id and booking ID(please find below). This transaction was done on 2-May-2012.

    I didn’t realize that my experience with airtel would be so frustrating and pathetic. From that day onwards, I have called up customer atleast 20 times, I have spent hours together waiting for someone to pick up the call. Literally got scoldings from my manager for wasting so much of time on hold with you guys.

    Every time I called, CC representative asked me to wait till she connects to supervisor and all of a sudden he/she disconnects the call. All my wait gone for a toss.

    Please look into this case. If the installation does not happen within next 1-2 days. I will be forced to raise a complaint on airtel through consumer court.

    I register my complain on 08 jun 12 with airtel digital tv customer care for no signal . but it is not resolved till now after repeted request several time there is no response from ur side . pls disconnect my connection and refund my balance currency. i do not want to continue with u.

    i called customer care (01.07.2012) to change my package from South Super Value two language topups Standard Nov-11 to South Economy Sports, but they said that it's not possible to change since i have HD dish!! So you are trying to say here DO NOT BUY HD Dish OR WHAT!!!

    For whom you will provide this package!!!

    Kindly do needful to change my my package, else let me know how to unsubscribe with Airtel Digital TV.

    Already i have bad experience with you guys, when i bought HD Dish, they promised some of the HD channel for life time free but later it's removed.

    Unhappy no signal problem

    Dear Sir,
    my costumer id is 3001196146 and i am facing no signal problem since last two week
    and i was called 26th june 2012 first time with complaint no.20165479 and they told me
    the engineer will be there whithin 24 hour but no one coming at my home for resolve the problem
    than i was called again 30th june 2012 with complaint no.20285641 and again same promise but no one is
    here and i called today again than they gave me a no. (7895000755) to call and talk to yourself engineer
    i called that no. but he is told me i dont no that palace and he is giving me another no. i called that no. but
    no.is switched off..........
    i dont no whos i should call next if i am facing same problem i will definitely change my provider.

    I am still unable to understand that what is taking so long to re start the services.
    Is it some kind of Joke going on? For how long I will be made fool by
    repeatedly sending such messages whearas in reality problem remains
    unresolved and my services are not resumed.

    Kindly let me know for how many times I need to lodge the same complaint or
    shall I simply forget my money and opt for some another DTH service
    provider. I am really getting fed up and mentally harassed by the mockery
    that is being made out of this "Customer Care Process".

    Shall I assume that the people out here in Airtel care a damn about their
    customers and are just making fun of their situation and blackmailing them
    to deposit money by harassing them!

    Please let me know the clear outcome of the complaint so that if you are not
    willing to restart my service then I shall buy some another DTH and shall
    not waste my time in writing to you or in calling customer care.

    An urgent action is requested.

    Angry DTH-HD connection----status unknown. installation pending. payment made 4 days back

    I booked my airtel DTH connection on sunday, 29th July by calling the number given on DTH site. the call got connected to someone in mumbai, and i ended up talking to person called Sailesh. I transacted the full amount upfront for my DTH- HD set top box of 2650.
    i got my confirmation of the transaction also, which is with me, over the email and i was told that the installation would happen by monday.

    Monday, i was busy at office, so didnt follow up, but i didnt hear from airtel.
    Tuesday morning, i called up airtel to follow up, and they after taking my details, could not figure out why it is delayed/stuck. i was furious and shouted at the lady and told her to get me the status. she promised to get back in 24 hours, to which i mentioned that i need an update and confirmation that the connectio will happen in 24 hours. i dont want to call
    back after the time, to listen to the same story. she agreed to call back in couple of hours. i got busy with work, and same story no one called up.
    Wednesday morning, I called up customer care again to find the status, and 2 times this happened. the rep took my details, couldnt find anything, then requested me to be put on hold and disconnected the call. 3rd time, when i was furious and started asking the rep, after again giving my details, as to what should i do or whom should i approach, they disconnected the call. 4th time, is when the guy took my details, and told me that he is going to forward my details to installation dept and get it resolved.
    i dont know whats happening. When i asked for details of these guys, rupesh and sailesh from vertex group, with whom i spoke while getting my connection done, none have their numbers, or dont want to share it.
    what options do i have now? a police complaint? From Airtel, this is probably the worst service, i have seen. I have email ID of the person whom i communicated and got confirmation of transaction. i have the transaction ID as well with me.
