Tata Sky DTH Service Cheating Customer Sir,
I have a Tata Sky DTH connection at home town Orissa in my mothers name. There was some problem in its setup box where no power was coming to it. I conctacted Tata Sky Customer Care and they assured me that they will come within 48 hours but did not come. After contacting 4/5 times the technical team came after 3 days. Then they replaced my Setup box with a very old one they had with them along with an external power adapter. Earlier my setup box did not have external adapter. While replacing it they neither told anything about charges nor signed any receipt from us. The next day the service was disconnected due to -ve balance. They have deducted Rs. 475/- from the account. When contacted to CC i got that the charge is: Service Visit (Rs. 125/-) + Hdlg Chrgs of STD Swap box (Rs. 225/-) + Hdlg Chrgs of Adaptor (Rs. 125/-) so in total Rs 475/-. But why should a customer go for extra adapter and old setup box for a simple power cable problem?? Now even contacted 6-7 times no action has been taken from Tata Sky rather service is disconnected and I have to recharge to continue. As a consumer just think "Will you replace your TV set for its power cable problem??"
