    Thumbs down Airtel DTH - Still sleeping

    Hi,

    This is Michael and I live in Noida. I have Tata Sky (which works fine and without a problem, and with AWESOME customer service). However, there are no Christian channels in Tata Sky and also the number of channels is lesser than Airtel for the same cost, so I thought I will change over to Airtel DTH.

    Accordingly on 12th of July 2011, I applied online for a DTH connection, subscribing to the South Ultra package. I paid Rs. 4900 (all inclusive) as one year's charges for the same.

    The same evening I got my Account Number: 3008390894 by SMS. The same SMS stated that the account has been successfully recharged Rs.4900.

    The very same evening I got another SMS stating that the engineer will come on 13th July 2011 by 9 AM to install the same at my premises.

    I waited till 11 AM and no one turned up. I have been emailing and calling them up but till now, no one has bothered to call up and come and do the install.

    This is the pathetic state of things at Airtel.

    Would the honorable court let me know how I can sue these people for non-providence of service and get back my hard earned Rs.4900 ASAP.

    Shame on Airtel for not keeping up promises made to customers.

    You people have no sense.

    Your person calls me today at 12 PM (afternoon) and tells me he is definitely going to come at 6 PM today to install.

    Based on his word, I came from office and waited. Till now no one has turned up.

    Do you think wasting time of the customer, is a bloody joke for you'll? Don't you'll have any sense?

    I do not want your bloody service any more. Cancel the order at once and refund the cash to me fully ASAP.

    I do not tolerate nonsense.

    I am going to boot Airtel completely from my house - that includes broadband too. That is the only language you people understand.

    Senseless folks at Airtel.

    This is the state of things at Airtel. They have no sense of respect for customer's time and they have no sense of honoring the commitments they make to the customer.

    Pathetic state of affairs at Airtel.

    At last, Airtel folks turned up this evening.

    The guys who came knew their job very well, were very polite and patient and fixed up everything. Now every thing is running fine as it should. Praise God. Amen.

    Airtel, you need to learn how to keep time commitments given to customers. you cannot expect people who are working to come home and waste their time waiting for you.
