    Hi,

    I had marked a request for my Airtel digital TV to be relocated from my mohali address to NOIDA address on 24/12/2008. Both addresses are mentioned below for your reference. My registered phone number is 9818395790. First time i called for this was on 24/12/2008. The customer service executive took my new address in NOIDA & booked the slot for technical installation executive. However next day (when this guy was was to visit my NOIDA residence for installation), i got a call from MOHALI stating that your executive in Mohali is not able to find my NOIDA address in MOHALI. Again i called customer service team who again after apologising alloted another slot. Again after couple of days i got similar call from MOHALI. This process of booking the slot has happened four times now & still i am reciving calls from MOHALI to intall my connection. I have spoken to Mr Rakesh (Floor incharge), Ms Sonia (Team Leader) still i havent got any solution. Whats most disgusting is that Airtel has already deducted Rs 600/- as reinstallation charges & still no-one bothered to inform me about the status. The incompetent team is still not able to provide any solution which in this case is arranging for an installation slot at NOIDA. Today again i called up the customer care. Today this guy Sajid, asked me to deposit Rs600/- again stating that i need to deposit this amount & later this will be refunded. When i told him that i will not pay anything now as i have already paid the charges, he disconnected my call.

    With the kind of service provided by airtel, i am made to believe that i have made a huge mistake by trusting airtel over various other DTH service providers. Its a simple case of understanding that a customer has relocated from Mohali to NOIDA & wants his connection to be relocated as well. One need not be a rocket scientist to understand a simple relocation case. Now i want my reintalling to be done very urgently. Also i would like some one very responsible to call me from AIRTEL AND NOT FROM AGENCY CALL CENTRE who can be sensitive about the customer's problem & "can get the things done". Its already been 12 days & if no future action is taken to my satisfaction, i will be forced to initiate legal action against airtel digital TV

    Default Airtel DTH relocation has not done

    I have brought Airtel DTH a month back. My Customer Id is 3001500866.
    I have requested for relocation of my DTH service.
    I called Airtel DTH customer care...time slot has been given to me for deactivation of DTH from my old olace and for reactivation at my new place,
    but nobody turned up and nobody even bothered to call me.
    Then i again called and requested for the same.so finally deactivation done after my 7 to 8 calls to DTH people (one week back).
    Now DTH people are suppose to come at my new place for the reactivation at my new location on the very next day after deactivaion,but nobody turnes up and again nobody called me..i waited them for whole day,
    I again called Airtel DTH customer care,again new time slot has been given to me for next day....and again next day nobody turnes up n nobody called me......
    Then for few days i have to go out of delhi for few days...but before goin i have booked a time slot for today (21st Oct 2009) for the reinstallation of my DTh and again nobody turned up.....and whn i called to DTH people then are again giving me new timmings....

    Thats all totally bullshit...that you people are making fool out of ur customer.....this is what you called Customer Service.
    with Airtel DTH i have really a very pathetic experience...
    Sorry but m really pissed off.....n registered a consumer complaint...

    JUST WANTED TO REQUEST U THAT IF U CANTNOT STICK TO UR COMMITMENTS THEN PLZ PLZ PLZ DONT COMMIT ANYTHING......

    Dear Team,

    I am the old customer of Airtel digital TV. My Customer Id is 3000180300.

    I had marked a request for my Airtel digital TV to be relocated from my Shimla address to Mohali address on 08/04/2010.

    I called Airtel DTH customer care...time slot has been given to me for deactivation of DTH from my old place and for reactivation at my new place,but nobody turned up and nobody even bothered to call me.

    Due to non visiting of engineer as I had done the deactivition by own resources.

    Then i again called many times and requested for the same for reactivation at my new address . Now DTH people are suppose to come at my new place for the reactivation but nobody turnes up and again nobody called me..i waited them for whole day, I again called Airtel DTH customer care,again new time slot has been given to me for next day....and again next day nobody turnes up n nobody called me.......

    Till date I am still waiting of the engineer for reactivation.

    With the kind of service provided by airtel, i am made to believe that i have made a huge mistake by trusting airtel over various other DTH service providers. Its a simple case of understanding that a customer has relocated from Shimla to Mohali & wants his connection to be relocated as well.     This is a wonderful experience with Airtel DTH service where no body bothered the complaints of the customer.

    Customer has to wait for long time for the resolution of the problem.

    Default Airtel Relocation Complaint

    Hello,

    Ref: Airtel DTH Connection: 3001371356

    we have applied for Airtel DTH relocation from Hyderabad to Chennai around a month back. We have provided our new address, contact number etc. but still the relocation is not done.

    We spoke to airtel customer care 4-5 times over last one week but there was no proper response except redirecting to somebody else.

    It has been very frustrating experience so far.

    It would be good if some one responds and get our Airtel DTH installed in the new location at the earliest.

    Default Airtel Fraud with its IVR system - Need your help

    Ref: Airtel DTH Connection: 3001371356

    On 16th September, I called AirTel Customer Care for the upgrading of the Set-Top box to HD. The customer care representative told me that I have to pay 2265/- and redirected the call to IVR system. In the IVR I entered the CreditCard number, @@@, DOE e.t.c and I got the conformation for the successful money transfer.

    On 19th some of the Airtel employee replaced the set-top box with a HD Set-Top box and asked me to call customer care to activate the service. When i called the customer care, they told that they have no record of money that I paid. I called my bank and asked the “Transition number”( 073230 ) and gave that to Airtel customer care and asked them to rise a complaint.

    The next day when i called the customer care, they said the complaint has been resolved. But the money has not been credited in my Airtel account, so that they can not activated the Set-Top box. I requested them to rise one more complaint about this.

    On 20th i received a SMS saying my complaint has been resolved. But that money has not been updated in my account. When i called them, they said the same story and raised a new complaint. The same thing has happened 4 times. I am rising a complaint and the next day they will close the complaint saying some stupid reason. Every time they will say that within 30 min, i will get a call from the back end team. From past 7 days i have not received a single call from Airtel.

    The last two complaint numbers are 3923867, 3940351.

    From past 7 Days, i am not able to watch the TV (For which i am already paid) and i have no idea where that money went. But the most painful thing is no one (from Airtel Team) is really bothered to answer properly.

    The Airtel has some problem with its IVR system and because of that i am suffering. Every day i am spending 30 min talking to the customer care.

    Please suggest what should i do.

    Default Request to transfer Airtel digital TV from my Panchkula address to NOIDA address.

    I had marked a request for my Airtel digital TV to transfer it from my Panchkula address to NOIDA address on 16/12/2010. Both addresses are mentioned below for your reference. My registered phone number is 9878133017.

    I called Airtel DTH customer care to get time slot for deactivation of DTH from my old place and for reactivation at my new place, but nobody turned up and nobody even bothered to call me.
    Then i again called and requested for the same. So finally deactivation done after my 7 to 8 calls to DTH people.
    Now DTH people are suppose to come at my new place for the reactivation at my new location with in 2-3 days after deactivaion,but nobody turnes up and again nobody called me..i waited them for whole 1 week.

    Please let me know when my connection will get installed at my new address as its going to be almost 1 month to request for the transfer of connection.

    Thumbs down Unwanted monthly sms stream from Airtel Digital TV services even though I don't use i

    Hi , this is to inform that every month I receive at least 5-10 message from Airtel digital tv even when I don't use its services.

    It says that your airtel digital TV ID 3000843243 service is suspended or due to suspend or restored and other nuisance. I have registered this complaint to its call center but to no satisfaction. I even went to Airtel center at Galleria, Gurgaon and I was given unsatisfactory answers. Response to the query was too ridiculous. The guy told me that this problem could not be fixed, the problem is inherent in the Airtel system.

    Please correct this problem. I do not want to receive any message on my phone number 9910 452302
