    Thumbs down Airtel dth tv complaint

    I have airtel dth connection from sep 2009.My Airtel DTH I.D is 3001694744 It started giving problem about one year back of no signal every fortnight.for getting service we have to really run from pillar to post , frantic calls to airtel customer care and executives are good for nothing. Airtel engineers close the calls without even speaking or visiting customer forget about solving problem.Airtel DTH was bought by me on goodwill of Airtel in broadband service and Airtel Mobile service which i enjoy from past many years. I am repenting my decision today. Again it is not working from 20th march 2011 and till today i.e 22nd march 2011 i must have done atleast 10calls to customer care . I laugh at the name cusotmer care.There is nothing called as customer for them and care is not their in their dictionary.Due to brand name of Airtel many people will keep falling in their prey and their business will keep on running. Cusotmer care is doing great job in closing customer complaint to make their numbers in uptime gurantee.AN every time they issue a new comlaint number.
    LIST OF CUSTOMER COMPLAINT REFERENCE NUMBERS:4124480,4131326,4124480,4148544,4176492.fr om 12th october to 18th october 2010 after registering complaint they came and changed dish antenna and it started working fine last month on 15th feb again there was issue of no signal and it was closed after repeated request by reference number 5438889. with a rider from engineer that u have to pay 100 rupees for the service. trust me u can not move the dish antenna by ur hand and they say some one has done it delibarately or some monkey has shaked it. so funny.on 20th morniing again same problem was there when i contacted airtel digital tv customer care i was told that it is due to sun outage it will be o.k by afternoon.whole day io was wasting time on their commitment. on 21st morning i again sent a complaint with reference number 6165759 but no response today again i was given new complaint number 6197575. which will be closed by afternoon 3: 30 P.M but till 6: 15 P.M no call forget about solution.

    Can any one share email i.d or number of top excutives of customer care or CEO AJAI PURI.where it can be escalated.
    AITEL DIGITAL TV SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My recommendation
    NEVER EVER BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION.I DO NT KNOW OTHERS ARE EQUALLY GUD OR BAD.

    Thumbs down Could not see Indian vs Pakistan Match

    I had reported NO signal compaint on Cusromer care number on 28th March with clear instruction that call shoul dbe close before India v/s pakistan World cup semi final. (Service request number : 6405833)

    It was not attended. Really feel like discontinuing services.

    Toll free number of customer care is pathetic as I could speak to customer servive agent after trying for 2 hrs of call disconnection.

    I am sure call will not be closed before World cup final but I am sure that I will discontinue services of Airtel permnantly.

    Hope somebody will take note of this.

    Thumbs down Heavy maintainance chrages from Airtel;

    I have taken Airtel DTH in June 2009, From then I have ended up paying almost 1000 Rs as custmer service charges

    Now they want to replace the STB charning me Rs 400 and On top of that due to their change in Satellite, they want to reinstall for which they are again charging me Rs 16 per mtr of cable..

    Airtel DTH sucks your blood and loot your money...


    TRAI should soon come up with Portability of DTH.

    So I decided to through away the connection and moved to cable TV.

    Cable TV is always the best because
    1) Service (locally available)
    2) you can view channels irrespective of weather conditions
    3) Dont need to pay electricity bill of STB

    So please dont go for Airtel DTH..

    Default delay in getting conection

    I have booked for airtel digital tv conection on12th october.my customer id3009015026 I am regularly contacting your call centre they pass the buck to other dept and say to email .I get response for mail after 24 0r 72 hrs withought much of a use. I have booked conection through your website.When such technology doesnot work kindly stop booking through web. Now I am frustrated with your services and responses thereof. I request for cancellation and refund

    Default Fraud information from Airtel Costumer care

    Hi,

    I have booked Airtel DTH on 23/10/2011. I got a cal from your costumer care center and i booked the connection though IVR. Before making the payment he promised me that i will get the connection within one day. But there was no response from you side for two days. I called 12150 after two days to get update on this and the guy who talked the phone told me my number is not registered. And he cant do anything. And on that evening i got a call airtel saying that they will come with setup box with next 24 hours. And when i called 12150 on morning they said he will come with 3 to 4 hours. But nobody came. And i have send a mail saying that i Dont want a connection of such a fraud company who will sell their products by giving such a fraud information to users. Then i got a call on 27/10/11 saying that they will come on that day to install. But there was no response again, So i dropped a mail saying that i don't want the connection until i get a mail explaining why my connection got delayed.

    On 29/10/2011 i again got a cal from airtel saying that they will come on that day, i clearly told them i want an explanation why it got delayed. But they send me a mail stating that nothing is pending from their side now, since i dnt want the connection now its closed from their part. I request airtel to stop fooling customers and please understand all have value for time. I thank you people for taking money from me in advance and not giving me the product.

    Default Pathetic/No cutomer service from Airtel digital Service

    Customer id: 3000548616. Error No signal.
    I have been trying to contact Airtel customer service division for the last three weeks and every time It gets connected, the call is either placed on mute or disconnected.
    Executive in Airtel are Pathetic. They either simply keep on disconnecting the calls or do not listen at all. For the last 4 weeks my airtel TV is not working and I am unable to get technician come to my house to get the same rectified.
    I got lured by the brand name of Airtel and now I am repenting my decision. I would not recommend Airtel to any one from now on !!
