    Default Airtel connection



    Dear All,

    I have an Airtel DTH connection “3006651446” I had informed the customer care for reinstallation of the DTH connection from Valasaravakkam to Tambaram. I had raised a complaint on 14 March 19, 2011. I got the feedback that the same will be solved by 15 March 2011. But from 15 March 2011 I am calling the customer care twice a day and getting revert that the query will be resolved by next day.


    I feel very much irritated on getting the same excuses, sorry’s twice a day from the customer. Also I have to spent money to call the customer care and beg them for re installation process

    If there is any problem in Airtel landline or mobile or broadband ., the same has been resolved in next 1 hour since there is a chance of changing the service provider. But in DTH if buy the connection we have to use it forcefully for one year and there is no any chances of surrendering the same. Hence Airtel in not responding the customer complaints against DTH connections. They are treating the customer very badly in DTH services.


    Kindly help me in this regard to raise a complaint against Airtel’s poor customer service on DTH

    Default Airtel DTH

    Dear Sir,

    My Airtel DTH is not working since 13th of May. I logged a problem ticket with Airtel customer care on 13th May itself. Till today i had been doing regular followups and escalations, but the the problem is still not resolved. I feel that that thick skinned service support of Airtel DTH is really bothered to address customer complaints. They just write pre drafted mails to customer with "NO ACTIONS".
    I have escalated the issue to their Nodal office, their airtelpresence email ID, but no action was taken. Only some or the other stories or false assurance was given, which was never fulfilled.

    They customer care always put me on hold for 10-20 minutes while transferring my call to their seniors and always disconnected the call after this. Somehow after trying for 2 Hrs i managed to reach their senior to speak on my issues pending since 4 days, they said the PIN code was wrongly mentioned by me in my address and hence the services could not be given.

    Whereas i have been using the same PIN from last 4 years and all my mails and posts reach my house in time. Infact the last time when Airtel team came for fixing the DTH problem in month of April, they also had the same PIN code.

    Just to hid their ineffeciency and no action been taken, they are makeing an excuse of PIN code now.
    Anyways, now have finally placed a disconnection request with them yesterday night.
    They have told me to refund the amount in my account and collect the dish and STB. I finally want to get rid of them and install a reliable stuff like Tata Sky. People say Tata may not have good quality, but atleast there is an assurance that the services will be good.

    The venture Airtel of Mr. Sunil Mittal Bharti is least bothered about customers and just busy in making good adds to attarct new customers forgetting to server the existing ones. Airtel brand is so sucking that i have changed my cell number to Vodafone last year, surrendred the Airtel Broad band last year and this year have surrendred the DTH as well.

    Just a small message for new customers who are planning to buy the Airtel, pls be cautious. Value = Utility + Assurance.
    They might provide your the best utility, but worst services and assurance to sustain the same.
