Sir,
I am a customer of Air Tel DTH, and I booked the DTH service on 14th. Nov. 2008,
from Air Tel Dealer, named Kiran Marketing, Borivli. The dealer promised me 12
months package for Rs. 2000 including all installation charges. He had given me the
package list and I had selected ‘value pack’ according to the list, which is for 12
months free viewing. Now my DTH service has been discontinued from 21st. May 2009,
within 6 months only. I approached the dealer, and he suggested me to contact the
toll free number 1800 102 8080. After repeated calls and that also with long waits,
they repeatedly told me that my service is meant for only 6 months. They are not
ready to go through my documents physically or not ready to confirm with their
dealer. I approached the dealer telling him my grievance. He called up some of his
personnel on phone and told me that he is helpless to solve my problem. But he still
agrees with me that my service is meant for 12 months and
he also suggested me to send an e-mail to ‘digitaltv@airtel.in’ which I did
attaching all my scanned documents. The copy of the same I am giving below:

SIR,
I BOOKED YOUR DTH AIRTEL ON 14TH. NOV. 2008, A 12 MONTHS PACCKAGE FOR RUPEES 2000,
WHICH I CONFIRMED WITH THE DEALER ACCORDING TO THE PACKAGE LIST GIVEN TO ME BY THE
DEALER.
NOW MY DTH TRNSMISSION HAS BEEN DISCOTINUED FROM 21ST. MAY 2009. I ASKED MY DEALER
ABOUT IT AND HE SUGGESTED ME TO CALL YOUR HELPLINE, WHICH I DID AND AFTER REPEATED
FOLLOW UP THEY GAVE ME THE FINAL VERDICT(?) THAT MY PACKAGE IS MEANT FOR ONLY SIX
MONTHS AND I HAVE TO RECHARGE FOR FURTHER VIEWING. (THIS YOU CAN CHECK WITH THE
RECORDED CONVERSATION WITH YOU). THEY ARE NOT READY TO VERIFY MY PAPERS PARSONNALY.
AGAIN I APROACHED THE DEALER, BRIEFING THE HELPLINE PROCEEDINGS AND SHOWED MY
PAPERS. AGAIN HE AGREED AND RECONFIRMED THAT MY PACKAGE IS VALIED FOR 12 MOTHS AND
HE ALSO CONTACTED SOMEONE ON THE PHONE, BUT TOLD ME THAT HE IS HELPLESS TO SOLVE THE
PROBLEM.
NOW I AM ENTIRLY DEPENDING ON YOUR FURTHER ACTION ABOUT THE MATTER. I HOPE YOU WILL
NOT DISAPPOINT ME AGAIN.

PLEASE MOTE:
I AM SENDING IN AN ATTATCHMENT, SCANED COPIES OF:
1. PACKAGE LIST GIVEN BY THE DEALER.
2. DEALER’S RECIEPT.
3. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP FORM.
They replied my e-mail stating that my service is meant for 6 months only. After
that I sent them three more e-mails for clear justification, but they are not giving
any reply for them.
Now I am relying on you for the justification. I am attaching the same scanned
documents with this e-mail in a separate attachment for your clarification. Please
help me to solve my problem.
