    Default Airtel DTH connection - activation not happening even after 10 days of paying amount

    I paid for new airtel digital tv (HD) connection on 28.02.2011 through their IVR. It was told to me that somebody will contact me the next day. No body called for 3 days. When I enquired, they said installation will be done within 72 hours. After 3 days again I called customer care. I would have called atleast 15 times to customer care. Each time one new person comes asks all the details and say that he will call within half an hour. That half an hour never came. I remember one name Mr.Tejas Rathod whom I talked out of a dozen people.

    Finally I contacted a local dealer and told the story. They delivered and installed after 4 days (on 08.03.2011) But they did not activate. When enquired they are asking for some scratch card which was not given to me (naturally because I paid through IVR.

    I would have called atleast 20 times after installation for activation. Each time they are assuring that the activation will be done after half an hour shamelessly. This continued for 3 days still activation not done.
