    Dear All



    I have a big request to you save all of us from Dish TV.



    Dish TV is a company, which do not have any fair practice in making sales services.



    Since from the beginning I bought dish TV I got only & only harassment from dish TV.



    Let me share my experience or problem with dish TV. Very next day of installation of
    dish TV at my office it was showing on my TV signal not found & a tele no of dish TV
    customer care was only appearing.

    When I called on this tele no & reported my problem I got a simple reply that due to
    bad or rainfall every time I would not be able to view dish TV.



    See Sir by spending Rs 5000/- for dth service if we get reply that whenever bad
    weather or rain fall will be there we would not be able to watch TV,



    Problem does not ends here if due to bad weather my disc which is fixed on the top
    floor of building is supposed to be realigned I have to pay some service chg for
    that too.



    See sir why this company does not tells public before selling that whenever there
    will be rainfall or bad weather they will not be able see TV and needs to pay
    service chg for every time dish is damaged by weather or rainfall.



    All these are cheating or fraud with customers.





    Let me share more my latest problem, since from beginning I bought distv TV I was
    always having alignment problem with them.



    Now few months before I decided not recharge my dish TV any more & then few days
    later I started to receive phone calls from dish TV & requesting me to recharge it.



    Yesterday on 24/05/2009 I decided to recharge my VC NO 01504834068 through
    rechargeitnow.com by using my HDFC net banking gateway for an amount of Rs 200/-,
    regarding this recharge I was supposed to get recharge benefit.



    Today as on 25th may when I called dish TV customer care & requested them to
    activate my package and asked them to let me know more about my recharge benefit,
    they told me that I will not get any recharge free benefit as I have not recharge my
    account more then Rs 200/-.



    This is all cheating with me as I got an sms from dish TV that if I recharge my
    account through rechargeitnow.com by net banking payment mode I would be granted
    recharge free benefit. As it was not known through Sms that amount should be greater
    then Rs 200/- so I have recharge by Rs 200/- only.



    I request from dish TV to make clear policies & notes regarding all payment &
    services and let me have recharge free benefit.

    Default Distv/ Signal not found” problem

    I am Bipul Madhi from Assam Sivasagar B.G. Road and I purchased DishTV connection of 3months subscription scheme as on 22/Aug/2008. After couple of weeks, I’m continuously facing “No access / Signal not found” problem apart from this problem I’m also in problem of their customer care services of such a reputed group. Whenever I call at 18601803474 (East region) they never pick their customers calls only one line is repeated continuously “this week is for Hera phere movie order your demand movie” but I ever get the line of their customer executive to tell my problem & this phone line is chargeable also, so after 15-20 minutes of wait I’ve to cut my phone from my side. This is really a very good service of Zee network enterprise for their main customer because they know they the existing customer is in their hand, so it is good not to hear their problems. When I call at DishTV Toll free Airtel mobile no. of Nodia, they pick the phone but ask me to hold the line but after that no reply for a long time and finally they disconnect the line from their side. So this is the Goodwill of Zee network / Dish TV. I mail to dish TV number of times regarding my problem of “No access / Signal not found” which was solved but again after few days it repeated itself. This is my final e-mail to Zee network enterprise / DishTV else I’ve to prepare myself for suit a file in consumer form. I’ve a proof against your customer care executive regarding holding the customer for a longtime and disconnect the line as I record it in my mobile phone.

    iam a regular customer of dish tv service. and today 18-09-10 i have paid 200 rupees for gold pack for
    watching programmes to next upcoming days...so urge you that please maintain your service contineud. and renew me a pack of gold package

    DISHTV IS EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF PATHETIC SERVICE.

    THOSE CAUGHT IN TRAP HAVE NO SCOPE OF ESCAPE.

    IT IS LIKE DRAINING YOUR MONEY FOR NOTHING.

    for last 2 yrs we are facing the problem, not getting to view any of the channels. only for couple of hours we are able to view some channels that is it.

    Whenever you call up customer care they say sorry we cannot register your complaint due to some technical problem. and seniors never available on calls.

    Even after recharging before due date msg is displayed the "recharge your account to view channels".


    How can they even advertise regarding their service just to cheat people and make money. Agencies are another way they cheat customers and ask for money.

    PLEASE FRIENDS DO NOT GET IN TRAP OF DISHTV SERVICE.

    Angry DISH TV HD Connection Complaint for pathetic service 7 customer harrasment

    I got a Dish TV HD Platinum connection installed at my place on 11th Feb 2011 and my VC no. is 01511820185. After half an hour of the installation, suddenly due to bad weather, signal got dropped and signal error message started showing up on my TV. After waiting for long I did a complaint on their customer care no. 1-860-180-3474 on 13th Morning around 10 am and the complaint no. is 54123877. I talked to Ms. Bindu who is a customer care executive and she assured me that the engineer will visit my place within 24 hours. But as expected, engineer did not visit my place & the problem is still there. Then I called customer care in 14th morning and got the same response from customer care executive and that day also no body visited my place. I again called customer care on 14th Feb evening but did not get any response. Today is 15th Feb and its now more than 48 hours since I’ve launched a complaint but no body visited my place and the problem is still there. I’ve tried customer care no. 6 times since morning. Out of it 2 times I’ve been put on hold for more than 20 minutes & then suddenly call got dropped.

    1 time I speak with Mr Ajay who is the supervisor for customer care and he assured me that engineer will visit my place by 15th evening 4 pm and he assured a call back on my no. Neither the engineer visited to my place nor I got a call back from the service center.

    Then 1 again called the customer care & while the executive was connecting me to the supervisor suddenly because of no reason call got disconnected.

    Then 1 called for the fifth time and talked to Mr. Dheeraj, who also says is the Sr. Supervisor for customer care. I asked them to refund my money and disconnect the connection as I’m highly dissatisfied from the services & irresponsible behavior of the customer care. He managed to convince me with the assurance the today only my problem will be rectified.

    Finally I got a call from no. 9654384974 which is an authorized customer service center and they said that engineer will visit to my place by 6 pm. But again a fake commitment and no body visited my place. Infact when I called them for the follow up, they disconnected my call. I called them again and again for 4-5 times and all the time they disconnected my call. Later on they put their no. on not reachable mode.

    From all the above events you can easily make out the kind of harassment Dish TV customers are facing. This shows the delinquency, irresponsibility and non-courteousness of DishTV towards its customers. Even the senior management do not care about the customers, so what can we expect from the customer care executives.

    You cannot play with customer’s time & money so I want you to take some serious action against all those who are involved in the whole incident and let me know the further action taken on this complaint. If you are not taking any action on this complaint then also plz let me know so that I take this forward in other way to the larger forum.

    Default Pathetic service by DISHTV

    I lodge several complain to dishtv regarding my connection but they are not doing anything.

    first they charge me for new connection when I asked for child connection.

    complain no. 47962027 , 47515962, 47445758

    and now they keep on charging for HD connection which I\'m not able to view.

    even after talking to customer service several time, they keep on telling it will take 24hrs which never comes.

    Default Dish TV - Worst Service ever !!!!!

    I cannot explain in words the kind of difficulty I have faced in the past 1 week for my dishtv connection VC no. 01501562821.

    I called up your costumer care helpline no. on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th 8th and today as well for some technical support. I was told that the software I am using is corrupt now and a new one needs to be installed, for which, a service engineer would be visiting my house.

    Ever since 4th May, I have been calling up your helpline everyday just to hear false promises made by your staff. " Sir, we understand your problem and assure you that our engineer would be visiting you today itself" is the standard reply I get every time. Now the stage has reached where I am literally begging for your service. I have realized that there is no point of being polite when you are constantly being pushed against the wall.

    Whenever I want to talk to any superior, your rep tells me that he's busy now and that he would arrange a call back after 15 mins. But unfortunately, I keep waiting in a hope that this is not another one of the innumerable false promises made to me. I have a Dishtv HD in one of my rooms and a dish tv normal connection in another. I wanted to use the dishtv connection for my guest who visited me on 6th May and left today. So now, the connection is absolutely useless to me.

    Also, the connection is supposed to be valid from 4th may to 20th may. Today is the 9th and my problem is yet to be resolved. One of your rep has told me that the period lost by you is going to be waived off but to be frank, that is not enough. I would rather have my monthly charge refunded. My guests have gone and I had to face a lot of embarrassment thanks to you guys.

    I really don't know if this mail will ever reach a senior in your organization but I would request you to mend your habit of hassling your costumers before its too late. What has been shocking is that not even your senior (Mr. Mohit Arora) has been able to resolve my issue.

    One thing is for sure, this is definitely the last time I'm paying for dishtv connection. Infact, I'm already looking for airtel HD set-top box as a replacement to you as soon as my subscription date expires. I was to buy 3 new HD set-top boxes from dishtv (I already have one) but this experience has made me hate your company to death. I doubt if I'll ever recommend your company to anyone. On the contrary, I would rather advice people not to go in for a dishtv connection.

    Default Customers care phone no always switched off.and their office timings

    I tried calling the customers care phone no but they are always switched off.the following no 01726570601, 01726570602 and 09216144936. At last i have to pay vist to the office.i reached there at 6.30 pm and i was told by the madam incharge that the timing was from 10 am to 6 pm.i also told that i been trying to call but all phone were swithed off .then she told that after working hour they switch off there contact no.i told that the timing mentioned on your device is 10 am to 7 pm.she said she can not help as the office is closed and to come next day.the way of talking was also rude.i am your customer for past 4 years and this is not the way you should treat your customers. This is great haresment to the customers.

    Unhappy Very poor service and customer handling

    Dear Sir,
    I had a connection vide VC No.01508784409 which I upgraded to TRU HD vide a new VC number 02084903673 under exchange scheme.The set top box was installed by your frannchise on 14.5.11 at my residence.I paid Rs. 3210/- towards this connection vide receipt number 108 ,job sheet number 5177 dt 14.5.11.The subscriber application form number 00218281 was filled and signed by me.The service was activated immediately.
    Surprisingly the connection has been deactivated since today morning and my call to your helpline revealed that the SAF has not reached you even after 4 days of installation.
    This is a total negligence of DIST TV and the franchisee you have who made the installation.With this letter I advise immediatete restoration and compensation towards disruption of services abruptly.
    I look forward to your positive response to this mail.

    I am using



    Today ie - 19.08.11 I called your customer care 18601803474 for information (which plan is going on and recharge amount for one year),

    I talked with Mr. Surendra Singh (DISHTV) he told me that first you have to register your mobile number then I'll provide you the information.

    But in the case of advertising call I don't want to register the mobile number.



    Now point is that-



    1-If the cell registration number is monetary, so how am I using my connection with out register it. Why it is not checked and inform before my call at customer care.

    2-If I am providing all details like as ID Name, cards number, location during the conversion, why is cell number is monetary.

    3- If I don't have any cell number & land line number.

    he did not provide me the details due to my cell
    number is not register, Why ?

    If there is no policy to register mobile number to account informaction, so
    why he waste my time and money, who will pay it ?

    We are paying you service TAX for services if you are not able to provide
    the service truly through customer care so why we pay service chage ?


    Please give me the answer of the above, otherwise you are requested to please stop my connection so that I can purchase another SET-Box of another service provider.

    this is correct...same case with me..

    i purchase a new dish connection as my old dish antenna and setup box was damged.
    but they refuse convert in muti connection and no response to terminate my connection .
    I am using the service since 2005 total 3 dish connections, they not responds well to solve my query.
    Every time i call they use to SILLY EXCUSES.
    its frustrating, service vERY POOR.
    they are not ready to tansfer balance into run ning connection

    Your requested not purchase dish tv connection again.
