Dear sir,
I am a tata sky customer and facing serious issue since last 15 days with my tata sky account.
I had Recharged with Rs.250 on 30th Oct. 2011 as on that date my balance was negative (Rs. -30) they charged me Rs.10 for reactivation of my account resulting in a net balance of Rs.210 post Recharge.
Post recharge I had asked the tata sky helpline contact person to activate Monthly State pack costing Rs.185 which the associate said is be activated.thus the stipulated due date ideally should be 30th November 2011 with a balance of Rs.25.
Further on 16th November,2011 the services were De-activated and my account showed a negative balance.
I caled up Tata Sky helpline and dictated the entire scenario the associate provided me with a credit of Rs.40.68/- after going through the recording of the calls made on 30th and confirming the scenario was true.
The issue was still not resolved.
I was given a new due date of 22nd November,2011 and at the same time my complaint was registered (Complain No. 1-12258814518).The complains are forwarded to the Tata-Sky Bangalore Office and redressed within 48 hours.
Today as i type this Complaint, my complain registered on 17th November is still not redressed More than 240 Hours have elspsed.
My services have Been Deactivated since 20th November,2011.
I called up the Tata-sky helpline, narrated the entire incident more than twice as they keep forwarding the complaints to the higher authorities.Speking to Mr. Rohit,Mr. Kumar(so called senior customer support staff).
Mr. Kumar Tells me that the State pack I had requested for wasn't available since over a month (even Before 30th Oct.).
Further there is another pack of Rs.175 /Month instead when asked to activate the same and provide me with a revised due date he said he cannot do the same.On pursuing him to provide me with my original requested pack and a due date i.e. Rs25 and 30th November + 6 days Additional on account of deactivation of services at the earliest,in a tone which was a little high he banged the Phone saying that he is dropping the complaint and i can do whatever I want to and I can.A Tata employee speaking like this comes as a surprise.
As the state Pack wasn't activated due to the fault on part of Tata Sky, they continued deducting daily rental of around Rs.10 per day. My complaint still remains unsettled.
