i have to complain about my cable operator i have his charge is 250 per month
i have given him 500 rs note,then he took that and said ur previous month balance
is not paid and he ran with that note he refuse to give back

and he never give me receipt he just write in his note book without our signature

This is M. Vinay Kumar, I am staying in Perambur, Chennai-12.

This area cable service provider is Akshaya Saat vision, 81, S.B.O, Colony 1st street, Chennai-12.

I informed to their money collection representative to remove connection for some months in 1st week of June 2009, they not responded next 10days. Again I asked to money connection person, she told me that you have to inform office directly. Then I personally informed to remove connection. After that 15day they removed connection and took the cable back in 2nd week of July 09.

After some time I directly went on 6th Sep’09 to reconnection, they said to day Sunday come tomorrow. I called on 7th Sep 09 again for the same. I told what ever I have to pay I will pay that, please give the connection. They not responded till next Saturday, then I went on Sunday and informed again. Again they told me to come tomorrow, next day I called and asked for the same. They told me that you have to pay Rs250/- then only you get the connection. I told what ever charges for removing and reconnection I will pay; I can’t pay that much amount. They told you paid till may end, but connection removed on Aug 09. You have to pay for two months; then only we will give connection other wise we can’t do any thing. I said; that not my problem. I informed to your office to remove the service, your people not removed that is not my problem. I can’t pay for your delay.

I informed so many times but there is no proper record. They are not taking phone call complaints as well as direct complaints in complaint book. They don’t have any service records also.

Few months back also I put complaint regarding cable disconnected, please do the needful like that I said. They took 2weeks to do the service.

Minimum local govt chanels also not clear.

Please do the need full to me.

there is no proper monitorning on cable operator services in india.I dont know is there any administration/controlling body on it.How governmrnt will give the license to the cable operators with out inspecting their cableling infrastructure and services.Till today most of the common indian families are getting entertainment from the TV channels but the cable operator services are worst.their services are not worth what we pay(200 rs per month).We even dont know whom to complaint.there must be a administration body who will cancel their licenses if their services are not good so that unemployed youth will get job opportunities.

i request the government to act on this.

Now I should come to the point,we pay Rs.200/month(aprox.) but we are not given that much channels and services,even they don't give the freeware channels & our regional channels.On asking them they reply that companies has increased their charges,Now if company has increased his charges than tell us, ARE WE RESPONSIBLE ?
When we say that we will cut off your connection, they show some of entertaining channels illegaly from DISH TV,TATA SKY,etc. for few days and then same story.
They rules over us & do as they wish,even we can't do anything as he is the only operator in our city/village.
There must be a administration body who will cancel their licenses if their services are not good.
I hope you will definitly give justice & will take strict action against the operator because acc. to you this will be a small problem but for common man this is a big one.

Dear Sir

While the entire world is watching the action at the World Cup Football being held in South Africa in their TV screens we the residents at Chepauk(MKB Street,Assudin Khan Stree,Tassudin Khan Street Etc..), Chennai are unable to do so since the Local Cable TV operator is not telecasting the same.

Also we have not subscribe to any Service Provider like Tata Sky or Airtel etc. and we do not have Set Top Boxes.

Request for necessary action in this regard.

During the World Cup 2011 i can't see any advertisement on my television because my operator show local product advertisement.
My cable operator show our local advertisement on every most view channel(Star Plus, Zee TV, Colors, ESPN, Star Sport).
