    Angry SUN DTH service problem

    I am KG Krirhnamurthy, from Bangalore. I have availed Sun DTH services to residence in Bangalore. My SIM card number is 41022247872R. It has been a regular problem in every aspect of interaction with Sun DTH call centers.
    Now I need to recharge an ADDON package with ESPN live, but no response in any of teh numbers made known to us. Does government allow such licences to DTH service companies, which do not have any backup services to its customers.
    I am surprised if government does not have any policy or framework to manage DTH services in the country. At least have the government published any contact numbers for us to contact.

    i am having SUNDIRECT DTH connection smar card no. 41136834201. I booked the
    connection on 30/12/08 in Nagina Electricals Marthahalli Bangalore. but the
    installation took place after 16 days 16/01/09 after making so many calls to
    distributor Trade horizon Pvt.Ltd, Bangalore.

    i took one Rs.100/- recharge (for addon pack activation) on 16/04/09 with serial
    no.T001000002929677 in Nagina Electricals Marthahalli Bangalore. i called customer
    on the same day and given all the details. The customer people told within 2 hours
    your new channel will be activated. But it has not come. I waited for one day, again
    i called customer care they told " we recharged but the balance is not showing in
    the system, in 1000 recharge coupons one card will behave like this, that is your
    coupon, it will take another one day for activation". but after one day also it has
    not come.I made so many calls to so many people. Each executive is giving one new
    number in a chain manner. Like this i spend more than Rs.200/- for phone calls. Even
    after 8 days also the addon pack activation is not coming. I am fully frustrated
    with the Sundirect DTH service.



    please take appropriate action immediately.

    sir, my dth not woking the message is no signal. when the complient solve i try to call customercare but no responce.
    all line is bussy. so how i contact customercare. in my twon no office in sun direct very bad service.

    Sir,

    sun direct DTH is giving poor services to the public.Their customer care lines are always busy.Whenever we register a complaint in online also no replies.At the high it stopped its telecasting to all the users for above 20 hours.According to the sun direct it has 5.8 million customers.Now it is not a personal complaint.It is a social issue for over 5.8 million subscribers.It also did not intimate its service disconnection to all its customers.It is now cheating all over 5.8 million subscribers and made them thrust.Most peoples subscribe for paid channels lose their valuable subscriptions for more over one day.News cant be reached to these 5.8 million customers.So Please consider this as the 5.8 million subscribers voice and grant a new penalty to the service.

    Thumbs down Sun direct dth - lights go out

    since july 7th 2010, sun direct dth has stopped telecasting all paid channels, message says no signal. what i am surprised about is that there is no news on their website and no information in the working channels about. I heard even the customer service is not reachable.

    Horrible response and the worst way they could handle this issue.

    hope it is rectified quickly, of they stand to lose others also like they have lost me as a customer.

    am trying since morning and not able to get connected
    no tv, no peace of mind
    i think the cable operator who got rs 125 is better than this cheap
    dirty shit

    I am mentioning 24hrs Customer Care no. of sun direct dth, first you need to talk to the Sun Direct DTH customer care and register a complaint, they will provide you a complaint no. and the time frame to resolve the issue. Wait for their response and revert us back with the Complaint nos. and the status of your complaint.

    Hi Friends...

    The Sun Direct DTH Services have been down for the past 2 days and I'm having a harrowing experience dealing with them now and in the past too. I'm a subscriber of Sun Direct DTH Services in Mumbai having Smart Card No. 41135141137 taken around 1 and 1/2 years back and have been having problems ever since. I regret switching from Cable to DTH especially to a worst DTH service provider like SUN Direct cause when you have problems they never are interested in solving them and turn their back on us after you have taken the subscription...Their Customer Service is so bad that you feel like smashing up the set top box and throwing away the Sun Direct dish very far away. Firstly its very difficult to get thru their toll free number and secondly even if you get thru to their local regional number the guy/girl sitting in some distant location most probably in Delhi and speaking bad english on the phone is hardly aware or trained to know or understand what exactly your problem is. Their local distributors or so called local service centres are least interested in your problems once you avail the subscription from them. Its very bad and I really don't know how come the Government and TRAI is promoting & allowing such bad and sub-standard DTH services like SUN Direct who don't have the infrastructure nor the right people to manage such premium based services and just wants to have a share of the money pie from the poor customer thereby providing such poor services and getting away with it. TRAI is useless, toothless and the Government and broadcasting ministry as usual is sleeping on all the problems the customer faces...God only can save us from such dirtly rotten scoundrels....

    So from my above mentioned frustating and totally bad experience with Sun Direct DTH Service, I would wholeheartedly recommend those who are planning to go for DTH Services to cut out Sun Direct DTH Service from their menu howsoever cheap or interesting the packages look, its a devil's trap and once you fall inside its very difficult to come out of it having invested initially so much money for all of it...SO BEWARE of SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE and go thru the customer reviews of other DTH Services too, to be sure before subscribing to any one of them instead of being a disappointed and aggrieved customer of Sun Direct DTH service like me...

    I realised now that probably its better to switch to the old cable operator who stays closeby rather than subscribe to such sub-standard & so called big DTH Service companies...

    PS :- The given below numbers are always engaged, seems like they are purposefully disconnected the phones so that they do not have answer anyone anything...This is cheap fraud...no mention of any problem on their website...My immediate neighbour who has a Sun Direct connection does not have a problem viewing channels but my TV has no signal strangely and when u tell the Sun Direct local distributor about this he cares a damn...are we living in Pakistan??? how can such sub-standard DTH companies be allowed to operate just bcoz some minister has a stake in this company....God only can save us from such devils!!!

    And worst is the sun direct has diabled their complaint lines, totally isolated their customers, this is more than the verdicts of this lawless nation,,,,,,,nothing but cange over to a better service peovider, ket the CEO of sun direct put our investments in his a******.
    This forum admin has only one hard coded reply, " Please provide your details, we will look into it", the asshole dont know this is what we had been listening from the era of our freedom.....hahahaha, this corporates even bribed them.
    ADMIN ...please change this site name to NON INDIAN CONSUMER CORT, it suits better.

    Unfortunately I had taken Sun DTH service (smartcard no 41328180520)
    Distributor - Sri Jeyam Agency, SS Colony, Madurai-10 distributor code:DT0443159
    I included Neo cricket package on 29-9-2010.... But until 6-10-2010 the channel was inactive (E48-32 No signal). When I contacted the customer care it was horrible... the first person told me that it would be ok in 48 hrs... nothing happened... i called after 48 hrs... the second person promised me to rectify in 24 hrs... nothing was done... i called again...the third person told me that it will be fine within 30 min... but nothing happened.... it was really disgusting... finally i called again... and the person told me that my report was put in high priority and I will receive a call from their technical side within 24 hrs... and gave me a reference number "0025518313"... but they hold strong to their reputation.... there was no calls... until I sent this mail to Sun DTH on 6-10-2010 morning.... Finally I received a phone call from this no "0422396500" on 6-10-2010, 12 35 pm. Since I was in my office the lady told me that she would call me at 7:30 pm on the same day when I reach back home.... believe me until now (8-10-2010, 9 30 pm) I did not receive any calls from sun dth... Also adding to their lethargic way of work, there is no signal (E48-32 No signal) for music add-on pack until 6-10-2010 which i included way back on 9-9-2010.... I am completely exhausted by calling them and answering to their routine questions repeatedly and hearing to their irrelevant and irresponsible answers....
    There are many channels such as Kalaignar, chutti, some telugu etc..etc...(I can make a list) which are not working after the realignment of the dish...
    Most importantly the complete dth service cut off (E48-32 no signal or E52-32 Searching for signal) for about 3 or 4 hours when it rains...!!! this is completely ridiculous....
    I am done with this sun dth service and looking for... hopefully a better provider....
    any way... Thank you Sun dth for not taking care of your customer...!!!
    KEEP UP YOUR REPUTATION TO LOOSE MOST OF YOUR CUSTOMERS....

    Exclamation poor customer care not responding for call

    i am kvs veereshalingam from hyderabad. i am a customer of sun dth (smart card no.41005905744R). i had a problem with setbox after several complaints they came and taken away setup box but from last 6 months i am effected with many problems but no sun dth people is responding. but i am paid 1 year subscription in advance already we are losing 6 months subscription and getting trouble. so every one i am requesting not to take sun DTH if possible pls suggest a solution to take by my money.

    All numbers given above are bullshit.
    These bastards have no sense.
    In my office 2 people are constantly on the phone trying to reach their help line. No use.
    Dealers refuse to help stating that their job is only to sell new connections.
    I physically took a fellow from the distributor to correct the problem. after 2 hours of struggling the fellow ran away again asking me to call helpdesk.
    I have paid 2000 recharge because of the problem getting the recharge. I had spent 10 days to just recharge.
    Now no channels are working.

    I am a consumer of sun dth id no :41141869010.i am using a malayalam baisic channel,its not getting asiannet news,indiavision & manarama also. And ndtv24/7news also.from last six months so many complaints given through the call centre also till now nobody attend my complaint.

    Hope solve my problem with out delay.
