    Thumbs down Airtel DTH Poor Service

    I have got new Airtel DTH connection (Customer Id: 3005233587-001) from Udaipur. However the guy whoc ame for installation gave me wrong cutomer id 3005233682. Also he downloaded the credit of Rs.1000/- on the wrong curotmere id. I found out later that the customer id given to me is incorrect while subscribing for some top-up channels. I raised this issue to the person from local Airtel office (Vikas) and he assured me that the amount will be credited back in my account. 15-20 days have passed and till date there is no action on this. I always get the same resposne that this will be done in 2-3 day, but still there is no progress till date.

    I find this as very poor service as they completely ignore my queries when I was suggesting that there is something wrong with my customer-id. Also after realizing there mistakes, the response is very poor and no progress is seen till date.

    My complaint is finally resolved thanks to this forum and the response from Airtel. I hope that the delay and poor service was a person or a particular center related issue and doesn't refelct the company's attitude towards the customer. Once again thanks to this forum and Airtel officers for resolving the same.
