Enclosing the complaint sent to SUN Direct HD - Nodal officer Karnataka region on the Poor and Pathetic service by SUN HD.
Dear Mr. Gunadeep,
I would like to bring to your kind attention the Poor and Pathetic customer service by Sun HD. My Smart card number is 41325688517. On 10-12-2011, I have given a complaint that my HD channels are not working ( other value pack channels were functioning normally).
I have followed up on my complaint, 4 times by calling the SUN HD service center and have been used to the same parroting statements " We have passed on the complaint to our distributor and will resolve your complaint within 24 hours". Many 24 Hrs have elapsed and there is no remedy in the offing.
I picked up email ID from the SUN HD website and I would like to bring to your attention the following points.
- I received a call from your distributor on 14-12-2011, and was informed that a technican will come on 14th Dec or 15th december. Nothing happened after that
- On 16th Dec-2011 , the same distributor called and said I need to pay Rs 150/- as service charge, for the technician to come and attend.
- I would like to know, if this payment is authorized by Sun direct HD. If it is authorized, why your service centre person did not inform me that there is a payment charge involved.
- On 17th Dec , I called back distributor in the number given by him (080-42057279) and asked them why they have not sent anybody. The response was even more shocking. The attendant on the line informed me that, this is the 1st time I'm calling this number and he had taken it a fresh complaint and had given me a complaint code - 1662. He promised to send me a person within 2 days to resolve the issue.
- Again I called the Sun HD CC number on 17-12-2011 and explained the whole situation and asked him to pass the complaint to his superior. I was put on hold for 9 mins and he came back on line and said the Supervisor was not available
- Does it take 9 + Minutes to find out if the supervisor is not available or the supervisor did not want to talk to a harrased customer like me?
I'm reminded of the famous quote and hope SUN TV does not become a prime and living example of this quote .
"The Apathy engendered by the belief that it does not affect me is self destructive. "
I hope , atleast i'll have a response , as I losing hope that i will get a quick solution for the issues faced by me.
