    Default Beware of Airtel Live

    The following is my Grievance with air tel . I think they are misleading the customer

    We are a customer of Airtel Digital TV Cust Id 3002918450
    There is a Service of Airtel "Airtel Live" which has an option to see Hindi Movies which is a "Pay and See" service

    In order to book the movie there are instruction on the bottom of the screen which are as follows
    "Book to watch in 24 Hrs SMS SP 32339 to 54325 Book this show only SMS ST 32339 to 54325 or call tool free at 1800102 8080" ( i have taken the screen shot of this screen )

    We had intended to see the movie the following day on 19/09/20 at 15:00 hrs.
    The cost mentioned was Rs 30/- Since I had a credit on mu account they debited
    "
    We sent an SMS SP 32339 to 54325 at 22.25 Hrs 0n 18/09/10
    Airtel send a message " you have successfully booked Once upon a time in mumbai Rs30 for Rs 30.00 and your booling id is 2841408 . Enjoy the movie

    Airtel sent a message "Your booking id 28414108 is confirmed. Enjoy your programme on Digital Tv" at 22.26 on 18/09/10

    When we tried to see the movie at 15:00 hrs on 19/09/10 we did not have access
    On calling their call centre we were mentioned that the booking is valid only for that calender day and expires at 00.00 hrs

    I brought it to their notice that the instructions mentioned on the screen were Book to watch in 24 Hrs SMS SP 32339 to 54325 and 24 Hrs since my booking (22:25 on 18/0910 ) is not over.

    I checked and there is no mention that you need to watch it on the same calender day .. It says Book to watch in 24 hrs .. and 24 hrs means 24 hrs .

    I insisted that the call be escalated and Air tel was kind enough to escalate the call to their managers . But they gave me the same reply

    My grievance is that when it was clearly mentioned "watch in 24hrs" why was I deprived of the service

    I sincerely believe that Airtel is intentionally trying to mislead the consumners and depriving them for what they are paying

    It is not about the Rs 30 that were debited I dont want other consumers to get conned
