    Default Complaint against Reliance BigTV

    Sir,
    I request you to advise me as to how I need to go about resolving the issue I am
    facing.

    I reside at Bidar in Karnataka. I paid for a BigTV connection on 07 Feb 09 and the
    same was installed on 09 Feb 09. From the very next day, there was a problem of the
    Set Top Box(STB) hanging(TV screen going blank with only the Big TV logo visible).
    Once this happened, the only way to reset this was by unplugging the STB and
    reconnecting again. This happened about once every hour.
    The first complaint was logged with the customer service on 11 Feb 09. It was
    promised that the complaint will be attended to in 48 hrs but to no avail.
    Subsequent to this a number of complaints have been logged without much success.
    There have been two visits by the service engineers in the interim.
    During the first visit, the service staff accepted an error in the initial
    installation procedure and downloaded a software. The problem however continued to
    persist.
    During the second visit, the new STB was replaced with another old box. It was
    assured that this replacement was just for a couple of days and I was requested not
    to inform about this replacement to the customer service. The replacement box
    however was in a much worse state hanging more often as compared to the original
    one. After a few days, on checking with the service staff, I was told that the
    replacement box cannot now not be changed.
    Repeated complaints have been lodged with the customer service thereafter. Every
    time on referring to the previous complaint number, I was informed that the
    complaint has been closed!
    The local Reliance BigTV manager Mr Emmanuel also has given me false assurances that
    the complaint will be looked into but to no avail. He also informed me that my STB
    will be sent for repairs but added that it could be months before it gets back.

    Angry Complaint against reliance big tv

    Hi

    I Vipin Kumar Gupta purchased a new starter pack of bigtv on 26th of July and I purchased two Rs 25 coupons extra. I got it installed on 26th July. From that day my account balance is decrementing day by day. I investigated it from customer care, they said they are seeing only two recharges in my account (Rs 200 and Rs 25). Where are the recharge vouchers of Rs100 and Rs 25. I have all the coupons with my self.

    I spoke to the executive (Mr. Ajit 9811715031) who came to install the connection, he is saying that he recharged all the vouchers. I am not getting good response from the customer care. I am really fed up from it. Please solve it if you can.

    Default complaint against representative reliance of big tv (dth)

    On the 13th august 2009,your mechnical representative Mr. Sujeet jha came to check the set up box whose showed us his identity card which was issued by your company for providing service. He checked the set up box and said that he would replace new one .

    He found that was not good . There were some problems in that set up box.
    He replaced that set up box. but he took old one set up box alongwith SMART CARD bearing no. 200611824855 which was recharged with Rs.400/-(Rs.four Hundred)on 11th August,2009.

    He promised to give me returned it within two days.

    It is very regretted to say neither old smart card nor anew one has not been provided me as about two months has been lapsed. However,I have lodged three complaints to customer care centre. No action has been taken by your end.
    I shall go to consumer court if you don't provide me SMART CARD within 7 days.

    Default recharge 400/- yet to reflect on reliance big tv

    i am a big tv customer from 1.5 years ago.i have recharge 400/- on 25.11.2009 through kotak bank net banking facility but the amount not credited till now.i call the cust care the people told me to give the transaction no but i have not rcvd the same.i told him that i am not printed the same i have having the bank ref no 0001329741 which reflect the bank statement.but the custmer service people told me that we are not able to solve the problem if ur not give us the transaction no.

    plz do somthing to crdt the same amount asap & also give a complain in the consumer court.

    Thumbs down BIG Cheat from BIG TV... How Nice.........

    As I'm a customer of BIG TV, and I'm paid in advance up to 23-01-2010 , The services are interrupted due to some technical reason, so rectify this issue immediately and activate all interrupted services free of cost.I'm not ready to pay a sigle paise for this. if not possible i need a detailed reply from the BIG TV authority mentioning the cause.

    My issue is , Reliance Bigtv Set Top Box is not working. after completing 1 year of purchase,
    1) I need to pay 175 rupees for engineer to visit and see the problem(only for attending the issue)
    2) I need to pay 800 rupees to rectify or repair/replace the set top box.
    I'm a paid customer to get the services from big tv, and I'm paying every month more than 100 rupes, So BigTV has the responsibility to rectify my problem with free of cost, if you fail to rectify this issue within 15 days from the receipt of this e-mail, I will be compelled to go for further action against BIG TV, and these types of issues will be announced in media and will be filed a case against BIg tv, in consumer court and other concerned department.
    .
    So i need a reply from your end that these things are true, if true, what is the reason, there is certain rules and regulation under trai to be met between customer and service provider. So I know how to screw all your habits to cheat a customer.

    sir,

    i would like to inform you that i am a customer of big tv.my id is 200537833852.i am getting msg on my tv screen there is no signal.i gave several times complaints but there is no response.i got the connection from r.b communication.owner name nitul goswami.

    I purchased 2 Big TV Connections whose smart card numbers are 200543366580
    and 200642956479 and both these connections were purchased during Oct 2008.
    Installation stage itself we had severe problems and Smart Card connection no.
    200543366580 was installed after 1 month from the date of purchase. For both
    the connections, the offer was 1 year free subscription.

    After 1 year, since both the connections are in my name and in my house, I
    requested for multiple connection Offer. I spoke to Mr. Nagnath who instructed
    me to recharge some amount as the accounts are showing -1. After recharging
    Rs. 10 in both the accounts, I was told by Mr. nagnath to recharge Rs. 1268/- in
    both the smart card accounts and then the connections will be made mutiple and
    Big TV will credit the excess amount to my A/c.

    My Recharge details are as follows:

    200543366580 200642956479.

    30-10-09 Rs. 10.00 Rs. 10.00
    04-11-09. Rs. 1300.00 Rs. 800.00
    06-11-09. 0.00 Rs. 550.00

    I opted for South Bronze and Tamil Regional (Raj & Star Vijay) for 1 year and
    the actual amount to be paid is Rs. 1268/- + Rs. 761/- + Rs. 60/- + Rs. 60/-
    which is totalling to Rs. 2149/- and I had paid Rs. 2670/-, which is Rs. 521/-Extra.
    Till 9th January 2010, this excess amount was not credited to my account and
    your technical basterds disconnected the Tamil Regional (Raj & Vijay) on
    1st of January 2010.

    I spoke to so many idiots with 5 senses and atlast on 6th January 2010, one man
    understood the problem and registered the compliant whose number is 116804323
    on 6th January 2010. The compliant was attended and on 9th January 2010, Rs. 507/-
    was credited to my account and after requesting Tamil Regional was restored.

    Immediately during January 2010, I requested to disconnect sports channels and from
    16th January 2010, Tamil regional alone was viewed by us for which Rs. 10/- per
    month is deductable from my account.

    Again on 30th Jnauary 2210, the tamil regional (Raj & Star Vijay) Channels were
    disconnected by son of the bitches and in the Big TV A/c screen it is showing
    that Rs. 441/- is in my credit as on 29-01-2010.

    Again I spoke to many male and female idiots and registered a compliant whose
    number is 118599978 dt 30-01-10.

    When I am not viewing any add on packs, how Rs. 441 will become negative 43/- in
    one day? How this problem occurs when a customer is having credit balance in his
    account? Is this the punishment for entering into long duration pack? Do you people
    think all customers are job less fools and have to keep on begging you.
    All are well trained to cheat customers.

    I require the problem to get rectified immediately and see that I am troubled again and again.

    Default Fraud with customer against your promise

    Dear Sir

    I m more than 1n half year old customer of big tv smart card no-200659173842. i m recharge my connection of amt 1489 for long duration pack(12mnth) but 3-4 days back my services suspended due to unsuffesient fund in my smart card. i m surprise how can that possible? after that i call big tv help line but no response due to technical reson or anything else but as on 04may10 i am again call n interact with MR Abhinav he can't help out n transfer my call to senior executive MR Pawan Kumar again i told all my problem to Mr pawan n he also not check out any data in system cause no interaction record or mention in this organization with cmr request or complaint after he transfer my call to any other Super senior person or employe Mr Manoj but Mr ManoJ also not resolve my problem my complain no or ref no-1750561344 but nobody helpout im not satisfy with the services provide by Reliance Big TV

    Kindly take a legal action against the Big tv because they cheat customer n no resolution.

    I'm a big tv customer for about 1.5 years.My smart card number is 200545019009.But now my set top box is not working for the past four days.I can't contact your customer care.

    Hamara Big TV smart card No. 200520121529 last 20 din se band h. hamne 23rd may 2010 ko complaint ki thi apke dwara 48 Hr. main start hone k liye kaha tha but aaj tak start nahi hua na hi koi Engineer aya.Pl solve our provlem as soon as possible otherwise we remove Big TV .

    Angry BIG issue with BIGTV

    Hello,
    Unfortunately, I am also a subscriber of Reliance BigTV. All was ok until I had the standard STB. But, once I upgraded to HD STB my problems started.

    First of all they took 3-4 weeks to enable the only HD channel(NGC HD). In the meantime even the STB had stopped working. I had submitted numerous complaints but to no avail. Sometimes, they would simply close the complaints from their end as resolved even if no action was taken. And it takes forever to contact them on their customer care lines.
    Even if you somehow manage to reach one of their CSRs as soon as I say its the HD box they would say to dial an alternate number (18002009003) and enter number 3 in that. But, in that number there was NO option 3 at all! And connecting back again you will find a new CSR who is as out of clue as others.

    And after all this drama somehow HD channel activated after around a month. But, they provided this supposedly Universal remote which can control TV and DVD player also. But for that it needs access codes but till now (its been more then 6 months) I havent received them and the remote doesnt work like a universal remote.

    I have been cheated by them by their crappy customer care and bad service. I would advise everybody to stay clear of them. Go for Airtel/TataSky if possible.

    Now, I just want to get out of their subscription and move onto TataSky. Will I get teh refund of the amount I paid for the HD STB? Please let me know if anything is possible.

    Default Big tv not working

    Sir,
    I'm a big tv customer for about 1 years.My smart card number is 200510642130.But now my set top box is not working for the past five days. I had lodged complaint on 13 Sept 2010 with complaint No. 136480666. I had contacted your customer care every day they just told we forward your compliant but still no body come to solve the problem.


    Kindly take a legal action against Big tv.

    I'm a big tv customer for about 2 years.My smart card number is 200545553135. But now my set top box is not working for the past six days. I had lodged complaint on 14 Sept 2010 with complaint No. 136602941. I had contacted your customer care every day they just told we forward your compliant but still no body come to solve the problem.


    Kindly take a legal action against Big tv.

    I am trying to activate neo cricket on my tv .when i contacted with customer care for actvatation ..they told me for activating neo cricket charges will be 44 / month and it has to be activate for 6 month. you can not deactivate it after using 1 month.this is what bullshit. Big yv playing with customer emotions. it has to be condemn...
